yea i agree about the access to wrtessle i went last week a big sliding electric gate across the entrance .not like when i went years ago got right up to the fence and took pictures .i actually thought it was a public footpath the the river ancholme.
Thanks MF 2017 & StopStart. It's almost impossible to get to the Wressle site because the access track is on private land and there's a security guard, so I suppose this might explain the absence of videos. Even so, it seems that oil is being produced at a very decent rate, although there may have been a few days when the well was shut in earlier for site operations. I've not seen anything published recently to confirm the 884 bopd and 0.48 million cu ft of gas (80 boepd) reported by Egdon as an "instantaneous flow rate" on 21 Sept. I still think it must have been quite short-lived, rather than that it happened instantly as some posters on the partners' boards seem to think I guess it all depends on what you think "instantaneous" really means. There was also a short piece on Drill or Drop on 23 Oct about Wressle and other onshore UK fields under a Methane Emissions article, but it seemed a lot of fuss about very little, IMO.
Yes, it was a small joke. It's seems a reasoned conclusion to make. I will wait for RNS update. I am just happy it's in production and we have revenue.
Come on more good news!
Hi MF2017. Sorry, that went over my head, though it was quite funny. Do you agree with my conclusion about the typical flow rate, or not maybe?
Your mate, wink, wink , nudge, nudge.... "Mange Tout , Mange Tout " hey Del boy!
A mate who lives not far from Wressle says the the well is currently producing about 600 to 700 barrels per day. Generally three (and occasionally four) 200 barrel oil tankers (not 220 bbl, it seems)are leaving the site each day. So if you say 3.5 tankers multiplied by 200 bbl, that's about 700 bopd. Mind you, I'm hopeful that the well will do quite a bit better than this once the extended test period is over, and Wressle gets into it's commercial production. phase.
Doubt you're right G.
Not Currently invested here.
And Brent was over $86 for some hours during the night.
Yes. Think you're right there, ivans. Brent Crude trading over $85 this afternoon for December supply -

Spot the difference at the retail pumps easy enough. I paid £1.31 point 7 a litre for petrol (supermarket - West Aberdeenshire) at the end of September and yesterday, at the same automated, non-kiosk, £30 value restricted purchase d-i-y pumps, it was £1.37 point 7 a litre petrol. Diesel another penny the litre on top of that.
Good news doesn't come cheap, eh?
Good Luck to us all. :0)
hey you forgot to put the 1. in front of your 5 this share is going nowhere very soon.
Hi Ivans. I think we're more likely to see 5p now than Gwynwin's miserable 1p guess. Wressle seems to be regularly producing about 600 bopd or maybe slightly better based on the reported 3 x 200 bbl tanker loads leaving the well site each day. It would be good to get an RNS from the Operator (Egdon) telling us what's actually happening.
i think Wressle strong performance and is coming soon, hence some are happy to accumulate. wont surprised me if we rise to 5p soon. you have to be in to ride it out.
for me, EDR and EOG.
