Unbelievable waste of time tosh :)
Seems like you are the one worrying :)

Corrected - over 5 times per day. Still not an inconsiderable output by any standards.

JoeCreed
You have been a poster on LSE Boards for over 6+ years, posting 12,299 times.
By my mathematics, that is over 6 times each and every day.
That level of production must be time consuming and not a little wearing!??!
That indicates to me that you have far, FAR too much time on your hands.
And all you will do on Monday if no RNS appears is bleat to us all how concerned you are. Poor you!!
Maybe your time may be better spent, as I have done emailing and getting replies from Martin Hull or even engaging him in a 30+ minute one-to-one phone call (again, as I recently did) possibly to assuage your concerns.
That way you may be better informed and not being the deramper that you are.
In fact I would be surprised that you held 1000 of any of the many share forums you post on.
Given your improbably huge output of 12,299 posts, you may even be a Walter Mitty and hold NONE!!
Oil & Gas Exploration does not run like clockwork.
Delays happen, that is part of the business.
Estimates for work programs are given in good faith, BUT they are predicated on the available information at the time.
If you had spent your career in O&G Exploration and Production, then you would know that and be familiar with it.
Obviously you haven't and that is why you say what you do......ad nauseum.
My attitude is that if we have not heard anything, then there is nothing that can be said.
Plain and simple.
We WILL get an RNS(s) only when appropriate, not a nanosecond before and certainly NOT because JoeCreed demands one.
I do not have a problem, I preach the virtues of patience.
What will be, will be.
There may be success, there again there may be more failure.
There is absolutely nothing that I can do about that.
But on Friday I did purchase some more shares.
I put my money where.......!
You just sow discord and angst.
You may be better selling up and going elsewhere, as there IS a chance that these 2 wells will both fail.
I really hope that they will not, I did buy more shares yesterday but I am an O&G realist.
Have a tidy weekend.
WT
Wizard, your fabrications are there for all to see.....what is your problem?
Nice reference Bobby!!
Joe, you can call me what you want.
By telling the world on a Friday night that you may throw your dummy, duvet and teething ring out of your pram unless matters go your way on Monday morn is quite enlightening. Concern is one step down from stress.
No matter, stirred things up here, recently it has been deathly quiet.
Joe, to lessen the "concern" that you might feel if these 2 wells are uneconomic, please tall us what your plan is in this eventuality?
Echo has drilled quite a number of wells so far, how many have generated income?
What makes these 2 different?
Our batting average is not good, so far.
Have a tidy weekend.

Maybe we've hit a full graben this time instead of half! Lol
In my opinion how I read the RNS we should have reached TD and now completing wire line logs, so yes news due hopefully next week, if it takes longer then maybe they are interpreting data and deciding next stage. If a “duster” as they say then they would just say. Remember the 2nd drill has greater potential as close to existing production!
Info on first well would take minimum 4 weeks, 2 weeks to frack each zone, so from the 6th Jan that’s the 3rd Feb to completion, of gas to surface they then need a period of testing through different chokes to calculate volumes etc, that would be a further few weeks.
I would say the longer it takes the better it could be as long as work progressing! Unlike previous when work was delayed regularly for months on end! CGC the operator and with an 80% stake they won’t mess around like Fi did.
Fingers crossed we get good news for us all.
We are here to make money. Why would one not be “concerned “ ( I didn’t say stressed, that is you pumping things up so you can write one of your pompous and uninteresting stories :) )
I want these wells to be successful as this company will really be backed into a corner if they aren’t.and you have no clue about stress in my life so please keep any assumptions about me to yourself, not really sure what you got from writing that, but I think it’s quite revealing. Glad you got a laugh anyway, little things...
dloughlin/JoeCreed
Monday comes and goes with no RNS. dloughlin starting to get concerned, JoeCreed standing right behind -ditto- LOL
Tuesday concern rising with no RNS. dloughlin/JoeCreed considering stress relieving medication! Are you kidding me?
Wednesday STILL no RNS. Concern at levels as yet unseen. Appointments made at GP's. May send an email to Martin Hull!
Thursday No RNS! No reply from Martin, he is busy elsewhere! Concern at fever pitch, looking for Samaritans phone No.? lol
Friday dloughlin/JoeCreed sell entire Echo Holding, all 10K! The stress is relieved. Still no RNS. The world keeps on turning.
Have you considered what will be your course of action, if both wells fail?
Maybe Oil & Gas Exploration investment is not for you.
I do hope that you can see how amusing your exchange was?
Presumably you both have a roof over your heads and food on the table unlike unfortunate billions on this planet.
This exchange of yours made me laugh out loud.
If a lack of an RNS causes you both "concern," then sell the shares and buy something less "stressful"!??!
Might I suggest that you have no idea what proper stress really is?
It might be if a major fire, explosion or gas escape occurs on the Oil & Gas platform you are working on, over 100 miles from land?
And you are part/in charge of the operations team/fire team that must deal with the casualties and the fire!
Or the helicopter/plane you are travelling on develops a hydraulic leak/ fault and the pilot has to make an emergency dash to the nearest airport?
I really had no idea how low the thresholds of stress were, that existed within some of the investor community.
A great start to my weekend. Thank you. A new perspective perceived.
WT
Definitely
If we don't get an RNS on Monday I will start to get concerned.
