great research/stalking skills T.Rat.
perhaps the social media has started....? I would love to see what it looks like, but the targeted way they dark post to your favourite social media makes that tricky, especially as I am not the target market. Maybe Gerry will show us what is happening on his favourite social media platform soon?
Which will come first, UK announcing real time water testing, or STC reaching capacity?
"Due to high demand we have paused our free trial for today. Please check back tomorrow."

Hello HelloSanDiego, those links were to promotion of the discussion that you consider hidden. How embarrassing. To what level do you need everything spelt out?
Continuing to misuse the term deadline makes you look foolish.
Yup trillsg...........!
I got 25 or 28th of this month, to wider scope for some no doubt........:()
Just before COP26 kicks off.........!
All the best (a fun packed Q3 after all........ :)
Am I right in thinking Gerry also said that their STC promotion with Monks would kick in next week?
Frix
- I heard that too :-)))
- Good answers and in the ball park of what I was thinking, the purpose of my questions, I guess, is to move away from this 'Oh my god, the CR JV is huge narrative' (not from you) and take a step back and rationalise a road map ie If the deal was signed in 2021 and the tech etc had evolved with MSYS tech (quite natural) what are the timescales for full blown production, are there pre-orders/interest, is this deal as a direct response to China's new agreed water policy? and except for production/marketing/distributing are China Resources involved with regards to the evolution of the technology are just the large scale manufacturing/distributing element.
I agree that only DVRG/CR should know these answers and all in good time, but think that many LTS's maybe adding to much expectation to this agreement being signed per se. 'The devil and the cause for celebration will be in the detail'
Anyway just my opinion, as we say, interesting times ahead and DVRG and MSYS may both have a very welcomed and pivotal contract/partnership agreed in the near future and just the fact that DVRG are sitting at the big boys table is credit to DVRG and MSYS.
All the best

Nowhere in those tweets does it mention another deadline was missed, and it was an important one too.
Anyway before I was so rudely summoned I was taking a look at WEFTEC news. We have this from LA:
@mwdh2o
Honored to have our work discussed during a
@WEFTEC workshop today on agencies demonstrating leadership in innovation. At Metropolitan, we embrace building a better water future through inspired thinking. Learn more at http://mwdinnovates.com
Earlier press story from LA:
Could LA water recycling be a miracle for parched West?

Mainly shared because San Diego gets a mention... But so much money to play for.
And if we are looking at WEFTEC news we've got to link to the water detective dog:

There's a DV share chat? Really?
I hear the admin/starter of the group is a wally...
;)
Hi Paul,
Great questions that I believe only GB would be able to answer.
In my humble opinion, there would first be a POC (Proof of Concept) to ensure what has been agreed actually works. Surely if the promises made around the equipment are true (nothing to suggest they're not) then presumably, once POC is done, they'd be looking to scale-up. To what scale of manufacture? IMO they'd want to tackle one province at a time or perhaps even want a blanket approach. My simple mind can't process those types of figures, but clearly would transform DV into a whole new entity (or the spin-off company on the HKSE).
In terms of development of smart platforms, again IMO, the "smart" would be the tech/IP from DV's Microtox PD (bringing lab to sample) and perhaps incorporating tech from MSYS, the whole thing can be made smaller if not also more efficient.
As for the acquisition of technology, no idea. Whilst I've not done business in China, my best guess is that they would push for as much "control" as possible. We know they'd want (minimum?) 51% of any deal with DV...and that any information (let's put under the banner of intellectual property) attained from this company would not be allowed to leave the country.
Probably not helpful, but as you say, interesting times ahead. What a ride this will be.
(side note, a few yrs ago, MSYS SP was around 40-50p...an initial rise to 5p in the next year I think is very doable, with the price now of 0.2p, I've take a chunk and will continue to add).

HelloSanDiego,
That information did not require an RNS so let's not pretend there should have been one...
But how about multiple tweets?
https://mobile.twitter.com/gjbrandon/status/1446390870601785348
https://mobile.twitter.com/gjbrandon/status/1447136866269077507
And that is non exhaustive.
But good to know the default position for HelloSanDiego posts are uniformed....

Am not sure if you are aware of the 'Deepverge (DVRG) Share Chat' group on Facebook!, you should check it out, it's really cool!!

Morning Re the China Resources Joint Venture and subsequent MOU
The original RNS (28th April 21) stated - 'Deepverge enter into a Joint Venture ("JV") for the manufacture, assembly and sale of environmental monitoring equipment, with a view to future development of smart environmental platforms, equipment/devices and network management software capability'
In essence that statement does not specify any scale of manufacturing - My questions would be- What scale of manufacture has peaked the interest of a huge company like CR to partner with DVRG, has there been development of smart environmental platforms etc over the last 6 months and has the evolution of the deal included, as you say, the potential of CR acquiring the DVRG technology?
Interesting times ahead.
ATBF
Fair point, Frix. Initially we said H1 to be fair but yeah I take your point. These negotiations are massive and set up a framework for others to follow. A little more patience needed.
T.Rat - "are you telling us you didn't listen to that podcast? You consider that information buried?"
The answer's yes to both questions. If it were RNS'd or even tweeted that would be fine.
RB40,
I echo your sentiments that indeed it is frustrating for deal-news to be pushed (from "early Q4" to "hopefully this year") but let's remember that CR isn't a micro-cap MWG with which to enter into a strategic alliance - CR is twice the size of Pfizer. DV arenn't even a spot on the map yet have game-changing tech that CR would be interested in using (or acquiring?) as part of their govenmental objectives in a cleaner future.
Moreover...and not only is this the logic explanation, but GB also mentioned it himself in the Sunday Roast - deals like this tend to evolve. We start with XYZ and then soon expand it to XYZABC. DV hired that internationally experienced solicitor (Fiona someone?) for a reason...there's a lot at stake here including IPR and political face.
We can speculate all we like...but IMO we have the right people in place doing what they're supposed to be doing. We just need to be patient!
Happy mid-week all.

HelloSanDiego, are you telling us you didn't listen to that podcast? You consider that information buried? Just how ignorant are you? Incredible! Maybe you should take a listen to link provided by Gidget as plenty of positive news. Not least COP26...
Morning PC21, hopefully we don’t get another backtrack n the next month we’re hoping early 2021. We don’t wanna be negotiating with a weak balance sheet. That said, Q2 always a lot better so perhaps Q2 will be cash generative so perhaps it’ll be stronger come YE.
IMO GB is guilty of overly optimistic timelines rather than deliberately misleading... as the old saying goes under promise and over deliver !
Hasn't any of T.Rat's extensive research turned up any facts on any of the missed deadlines or missed targets?
They always seem to be buried in a podcast or whatever, and show up weeks later in a "I think he said this or that" post on here.
i think GB said he'd be disappointed if it wasn't 2021, i think that goes for all of us but id rather wait for a better deal than rush the wrong deal .... Come on GB and, the no doubt expensive recent in-house lawyer time to deliver the mega deal
Retire
Morning, early Q4 was the original targeted time for completion, as Gidget says he seemed to backtrack a little and suggest closer to year end. He also said 'he would be disappointed if it did not happen in 2021' - Hmmm wouldn't we all!!
