To the moon let’s getting dancing.. And all u SP lovers this is going to go blow and think market only has 30% haha
Hutchy1, I'd be happy to see DVRG supply Branson PD and BT and wish him all the best as we watch recurring revenues roll in...
What a nobhead Branson is hate him all about money.. love him to fail
I think he will always be involved just, more in the background and watching it tick over.. Going to be a monster
'course here is somebody who has done well selling:
https://www.forbes.com/profile/richard-branson/
And look:
"Branson is getting into the cruise business with Virgin Voyages, expected to take its first passengers in 2020."
https://www.virginvoyages.com/
Look at what is included. Need to be adding a Microtox BT and chips for length of cruise! Cost more than justified to get ships operating.
Yeah that was his plan in 5 years not now..
Like asking who will buy Micro soft (sorry) in early 2000s! Gates found another exit. Or Brin and Page at Google who have already started to do likewise... A nice problem to have.
As trillsg notes selling would be the plan. Let's see where the journey goes.
It's no secret Hutchy, that is his plan. Build it then sell. Think the subsidiaries will be sold separately as the whole company is a bit too diverse.
What a combined world class scientists and commercial Gerrard.. it’s happening, can’t wait for the story get started.. yes I’m well entertained love it and all it means for the world..
Nobody will buy them it’s his baby, he won’t let them, the road map is just beginning.. They have full scope of most of the world.. the products are off the scale skin amazing, breathalyser will be able to test for any drug in nearly instant time.. wastewater so many usable sources, tracking the virus, and have so much data in skin and water..
So having a think and it appears my answer is I don't want to take a guess!
The road map might be for a buy out but destinations can change. Maybe this becomes a monster that sticks around and Gerry needs to revise the plan. Who can even guess what a successful subscription model will make possible. Peloton acquiring Precor levels of craziness for a start, and then anything is possible...
But if buy out remains on the table then somebody with deep pockets! Or rather numerous groups with deep pockets. Presumably successful parts of business will be able to be spun off to stand alone before then.
Indeed given range of interests already within DVRG (interests which will expand over time) it would seem unlikely to get maximum value from selling as a whole. If the business is half as successful as hoped government will be keeping an eye (although SoftBank acquiring ARM shows anything possible) - would they let China acquire our water detection if rolled out nationally in UK?
For now I'll just enjoy the journey as it is only getting started.
Anyone like to take a guess who'll eventually buy us out and end Gerard's road map.
