Have a look at the prelim results RNS. This is a solid company with money in the bank and better than expected forward bookings for 2020/21. I think they will nick other routes from other airlines who have dropped off I'm sure next year.
Topped up today, expecting 800 + this week coming. Blast off!
Thanks for the report, I'm hearing quite a lot about booking exceeding expectations - few friends flying out next month with Jet2, so will feed back how busy their flights are. Planning on holding this one long term myself, and still of the view that the entry price looks attractive.
Well I've flown out of LBA today to Palma and the plane was almost full. Very happy to have had a chance to buy into this at £6.45 each. I'm rather confident I'll be getting a good return soon. Especially when only 40 seats were booked last week when I booked this. So true of the British, we just "Keep calm and carry on", i realise now, more than ever where that saying comes from :0)
Evening Fellas,
I'm flying out of LBA next Tuesday to the Isle of Fernandos so I will report back n let you know how easy it was.
DTG have let staff go just for this year and are concentrating on their most profitable routes. They've sold Fowler Welch for £98m and raised capital of £176m - I ca see them nicking routes off other airlines that have backed out so IMO DTG are on the up up up!!!
il give you the low down on numbers pax wise next week when I fly
Good call Muir il give you that well done
Now give me the lotto numbers and a prediction for year end here with no covid uptick. £13??
ATB Duster
Looking at the jet 2 flight booking site there aren’t many seats available on most flights out of Birmingham tomorrow so FYI I can’t see how they’re only half full. Only about 10 seats left on flight to Lanzarote
Thanks Mong
It was today fyi half empty flights just like Ryanair
Certainly flying back up now!!! in many ways and about time
Why stop at 700? Skies the limit....

Once jet2's start 737s start flying again Wednesday this will boom !
Mixed.
As per my other comments in this field, DTG was looking ok for pushing into the 850s and on around 8-10days ago but now down at 650. Sorry thats nowt to do with a second wave or a spike, its just not a great stock and everyone saying it will go up is clearly reading a script with no timeline as its day on day losing 2/3/4%.
Time to wake up. Yes its got a good balance sheet and yes people like it but that doesnt equate to ££££s.
Flying this week and the price is dropping....errr great.
Dont remeber in the past few months seeing big gains so my advice, long haul this one or dont bother as its just a bit sluggish at present and highly likely to stay in the 6s/7s for a while for me.
Why dart group down last few days when other travel shares are up, just wonder whether to buy back in.
“…For those who did not take the over subscribed placing in May at £5.765p, this looks a decent entry level around £6.30 for the march back to Januarys share-price of £20…”

Jet2 offer a very popular holiday experience.
From presentation at the initial departure Airport through to arrival back there, at the end of the holiday, the Jet2 experience is designed to be hassle free, enjoyable, and value for money. The only concern in the Customers mind, on return, should be “How soon will it be before they can book again for a repeat Jet2 experience!”
Available research seems to indicate that Jet2 has a strategy to get the business back into this ” normal” groove as quickly as possible. Measures taken seem comprehensive, pragmatic, relatively easy to implement and clear to the Customer. Measures should continue to protect the business, it’s cashflow and additionally ensure that Customers enjoy the experience they expect, deserve and will wish to repeat.
The next 4 weeks will be critical. Despite all the measures taken problems will occur, but research seems to indicate that Jet2 have sufficient resources and plans to manage and resolve any “hiccups”. During this four-week period, as the various Jet2 holidaymaker packages cycle through, the feedback will be of particular interest - hopefully for Jet2 it will be positive.
Of more interest will be the reaction of others in the industry as to how Jet2 have dealt with the problem. If Jet2 have been successful, the industry will invariably react swiftly to copy - and a dramatic change in activity could ensue. All depends on the pragmatism, application of common sense and desire to succeed of all the parties involved.
Jet2’s success will surely assist in placing the CV19 issue “back in its box,” as far as holidays and air travel are concerned!

Does anyone know where I can get the analysts reports/research for this stock?
Arden Partners report is useless as they don't contain any forecasts at all.
Thanks
I hope it does that, however its been an awful week of losses and DTG frequently top of the highest losers this week in the AIM, which is proving unrest or positivity is in limited supply. Would love to feel the optimism but 5 days pre their flight plans restarting its showing no signs of recovery in a fashion expected.
Im in on this stock way beyond where it is now but surprised how poorly its behaved this week.
Great opportunity to top up IMO Jet2 and Ryanair will bounce back much quicker than BA. Most routes are already open. Reckon this SP will double in the next 12 months
