Bradley. I trust your new strategy does not include you moaning on and on about Deepmatter and how you think you have made a mistake by investing in this company.
Regards
Bradley
That’s a ****e strategy, lol
OB
Another strategy of mine in the future is not to post when I've had 5 pints.
Woodstock
I only hold a small amount of cash so no ladder required, lol almost every penny I’m paid goes into BullionVault, we live off the wife’s wages…
I can’t bear the thought of loosing over 10% of my cash due to “real inflation”
OB
OB. I am holding my stock position but without adding any more cash.
My 5 month position is hoard cash and lots of it. No doubt you will need a lader when you hide your cash under the matress
Warm regards

Yeah I like the green tech, that’s why I am into silver it has so many green uses- solar panels -electronics - not to mention electric cars, everyone will be driving an electric car in 15 years, think of all that silver required…
I recon when CBDC’ s are rolled out, folk will pour into crypto and precious metals, some interesting times ahead :)
OB
OB, my strategy is hold a mixed portfolio of tech and green shares (the latter have taken a bit of a battering lately but I'm convinced that they will on the whole be too important to fail) hedged with a chunk of crypto exposure.
Not got any direct crypto but various investments in crypto companies, primarily ARB. They have low levels of debt backed by their HODL so interest rates shouldn't be such a problem at moment. Need to a way to fund their texas project longer term but I'm satisfied PW will find a way.
Morning Bradley
You have balls, you put 35k in here and that’s more balls than me, I prefer little and often and buy in the dips..
Please don’t ever remain here on my account, we can have a beer without being invested chaps…
Who knows why RG is selling? There could be many many reasons, he could simply have lost his patience, and we know buffets opinion on that :)
As for your strategy (pay the bank back), in times of high inflation your debt is eroded away…. Have a google
I have a vision in my head of Woodstock in his chocolate box cottage, and every time he has the window’s open £20 notes keep flying out, into the wind and choking the new forest pony’s, ha ha
I have many faults, I’m fat, bald and not even a good carpenter but I do have patience, if this take 5 years then so be it.
OB
Strategies,
If one can pay off bank.
OB,
I'm mpressed and confident that we'll be in profit soon ish. Its just that this RG guy is or supposedly is selling like hell. Dont you think he's selling cos he's lost patients and heard it for years about big parma companies into us but no results in revenue and share price movements. And I mean years.
Love is the wrong word but I feel really passionate that this company will come good. It's not just about the money.
In a crazy sentiment loyal way I want our little enthusiastic gang to stay together and maybe meet up one day.
Baldy when I slip in enthusiasm catch me cos I lack balls sometimes.
Hi Woodstock
Shadow stats puts inflation in the USA at 13.4% last time I looked, yes I remember having a 15% mortgage… at one point in my life after all the bills were paid we had £2,50 a week spare!!! Not easy with a house, 3 children and a dog…. We were lucky really.
Having dry powder is a good idea, but the trouble is your cash is being devalued at 13.4%..
I’m of the same impression as you 100% we are headed for the worst economic downturn in living memory, the velocity of money has started and now we are out of lockdown that will increase, inflation will go up and up, then comes the interest rate rises….
We are in a fake boom at the moment IMO, I have invested very heavily in precious metals, and are stored with BullionVault, (physical and fully allocated in my name)
I also have shares in 3 companies that I believe would be largely unaffected by any downturn, well at least that’s the plan….
I have also de-risked my personal pension, oh and just for a laugh I have purchased a little crypto lol
I do like to hear other people’s strategies?
ATB
OB
Some of us remember 17% interest rates back in 1989. Most borrowers today couldn't handle 2% interest rate.
Ob. I believe we have one of the biggest ever economic depressions coming. Our position on this company should hold but I am hoarding cash as the future economic environment looks awful.
Warm regards
NorthernBoy. Thanks for keeping the faith.
Warm regards
Sending good weekend all.
OB. It's only a matter of time before interest rates start going up. I don't know what your thoughts are but it appears everything but everything appears to have gone up 10%.
Bradley, I am delighted you are holding. The market is not atall easy. However there are some good people on this board that will cover any reservations that you have.
Best wishes to all.
PS. Where is Gkb and Meelie. They are great posters imop
Evening Woodstock, Bradley and NB
Agreed Woodstock 8p would be a fair price ATM, but the market doesn’t agree…. Yet!
The Bank of England have been sending bank bail in template’s out?
Make of that what you will….
Thank you for your concern woody. I know this company will be very profitable one day. I'm holding to see that day.
Deepmatter has great fundermentals. Sorry of any confusion.
Sending all my best.
The best example of being invested in a long term company is Seeing. Two years ago Seeing was 2p. The company had great fundamentals
Imop this company has great fundermentals. Ok holding a position for the next 2 or 3 years appears a tall order. At the end of the day this company deserves the support of us shareholders. I have no doubt we will be rewarded.
Straight off the bat. this company is worth 8p a share market cap.
Bradley. I am running at 21% loss at the moment, so I understand why you are fed up.
Unfortunately the Aim market is always costly. I don't know, you crossed my mind recently. Please try and hold your position.
All the best.
OB. Sending good weekend.
2p. Welcome aboard.
Chin up Bradley. Your be gutted if you sell and see an sp of 20p in a few years.
All the best.
Come on Bradley BB it’s only a matter of time before we hit OB’s 77p!
;-)
Well yes its going forward but doesn't excite me or anyone.
