Tanya wake up, end of the year is months away!
Your pathetic changing your name, we know its you!
Main reservation platform ???
How do you work that out Tanya ??? hardly anyone has heard of Dish let alone downloaded the app
The company has no money to pay for advertising to increase public awareness
Any clown can see Dish doesn't have the users required to drive any worthwhile volume to any restaurant without them trying to charge £200 a month for the privilege
To much time has been wasted and with no brand awareness this is looking doomed to failure imo
What customers?
no change in numbers today.
Any which way very mercenary of you. Shame.
You need it tp pay off your student loan.
Is it £5 per blather that he pays you?
No. TO FIRST BLATHER.
Yes TO SECOND BLATHER.
Upto the eyeballs and trying to convince anyone who will listen to invest money into this zero cash generating idea
A business is supposed to generate revenue and ideally make a profit BigDish does neither and in desperation has turned to essentially voluntary work for the majority of 2020.
You stick at it FL cuckoo land
What load of old regurgitated rubbish. SaaS system providing delivery and takeaway will be taken up by every restaurant. Desperelda she must spent all night penning this load of SAME OLD SAME OLD.
Evidence if it were needed and we already have it in spades that Desperelda has no shares cos she thinks there worthless but at the same time she wants the chance to buy cheap and make quick buck when share pops on news which is imminent. She is trying desperately (and more and more desperate by the day) to denigrate Bigdish and its fantastic positioning in the hospitality space with its new tech.
Fellow investors she wants to trump you into giving your shares to her OR she is being paid to denigrate and deramp by someone else Trolls live in the dark... Remember that folks. Same old same old rubbish. IGNORE.
Good work Speroni
So on balance they now only have approximately 50% of the restaurants they had before lockdown.
300nr restaurants fully signed up in their 3rd year since float is embarrassingly poor.
Forget about the other 1800 and odd restaurants not actually signed up, they probably just agreed to allow BigDish to put them on the Bigdish app because it was free and no obligation.
If they couldn't convince restaurants to sign up for a measily 50p a cover , I don't think they have a chance of convincing them to commit to £200 or so a month.
It just won't happen, Dish doesn't have the kind of market presence needed to be able to command those kind of fees
Clearly hasn't been thought through, they would have been far better sticking to the 50p a cover and still allowing bookings to be made without restaurants having to give a discount and in doing so charge a higher booking fee.
Example table for 4 booked using the app friday night so restaurant booked not currently giving any discount but has to pay Dish a premium £2per head booking fee
Same table booked tuesday night and restaurant is offering 25% discount booking fee now only £1.25
15% = £1.50
10% = £1.75
50% = 50p
30% = £1.00
Table booked offering No discount = £2.00
A simple pricing structure where the restaurants only pay for what BigDish in effect bring to the table.
Imo Dish slipped up from the start trying to force restaurants into giving discounts this is what ultimately backfired and since it seems to be one failed idea after another.
I seriously fail to see anyone investing money into this
To many doing it now and doing it a whole lot better with far more market exposure than Dish who very few have heard of and with no money for a serious marketing campaign I don't see how things can be turned around.
Interesting Spero, good spot.
If the chains are just taking advantage of the free time on the app with no intention of paying next year then the numbers could take a massive blow, all
Progress could be wiped out.
People must realise this is a numbers game, Dish really need to start pushing it’s a free service and they’ve not smashed it, should be adding hundreds and hundreds of restaurants each month, poor numbers recently.
That could all change overnight when the SaaS system kicks in fully and the takeaway and delivery options are available to all restaurants, or at least a growing number of them as the SaaS system is rolled out. We are still in the foothills of the Andes and not in the mountains YET! But well on the way IMHO>
Interesting metric. Thanks Spero.
There's been a count I've been meaning to do for a while. The split between 'fully' and 'partially' signed up restaurants.
Restaurants are signed up in one of two ways.
1) 'Fully' : Allowing customers to make reservations through the BigDish app/website. Restaurants manage the available discounts and bookings through the BigDish manager app.
2) 'Partially' : Restaurants are using BigDish to advertise their venues without using it for bookings / discounts etc. The app simply provides a link to the restaurant's own website (e.g. Pizza Hut)
Todays result:
Total 2193
Fully signed up : 300
Partially signed up : 1893
I think keeping track of this KPI is important, as fully signed up partners are much more likely to become paying subscribers.
Diversify try EVE....my double up tip for the week
Anyway whats Dish doing, turning into a joke
Get on to your contacts, funding???
Eat Out to Help Out scheme extended by restaurants at own expense
Tanya everyone knows it’s you!
Techies the giveaway!
This is turning into a dogs dinner, no communication, broken promises, have a word Tanya!
Where have you seen that JS? I know some companies are running the offer in September but not government run
Eat out scheme extended for September
Total location count: 471
Total restaurant count: 2193
(-9)
I assume we're going to lose some as the eat out ot help out scheme ends
Total location count: 484
Total restaurant count: 2202
(London 297)
A boon to the many restaurants thar do not have their own delivery arrangements yet.
It's reasonable for sign-up rates to dip when their focus is on another area. Pending last-mile delivery partner integration is the most likely caus IMO.
