For what its worth I suggest the new broker is a preamble to a placing. As regards sales if Murata couldn’t hack it why should CPX do any better. At the moment without Government tax breaks they would go under . Here's hoping
I am not nervous at all . Its only money. I just don't believe everything I am told by it by a BOD or any rampers. I will incidentally sell in my own good time and not at behest of anyone else. No church for me I am an agnostic
Indeed OS ! Few are as fake as though ! Suggest you take yourself to church
Open, as you seem to be very nervous of CPX and are sitting on a profit, why do u remain invested?
The fact that CPX has never made a profit is not rubbishing CPX its stating the fact that despite many false dawns CPX has to date failed to deliver when forecasting profit. While I will always err on the side of caution I do so as a reaction to the rampers who write a lot of pie in the sky wish list stuff partly IMHO to justify their investments. Still we are all different
"You have some sort of fettish of leaving little droppings of doubt over everything" Best thing i have read in a long while. My thoughts you have so precisely put into the words i could not find. Thank you Sir
Clearly you have “rubbished” CPX over its inability to make money over the years but I could get anyone off the street to tell me that all the R&D has been done, equipment has been bought( at a snip!!) and production is now underway and little wins are taking place. You have some sort of fettish of leaving little droppings of doubt over everything. Why?? now that’s the big question. If you owned this company you’re be pretty pleased with yourself on how things are progressing, would you not? Forgetting SPs and AIM you would be pretty pleased surely!!
OK Andy Lou tell me what it is ? I have no interest other than the SP going up as do we all
OS, if you think these are all rampers, why do you ask these same population for advise regarding the lawsuit ? I suggest do to your own investigations for this....
Btw excellent news today, will have a lot ofexposure
You have no agenda!!
Really give over
With respect Surprised, why do I need to take your advice about buying and selling as I make my own mind up on that . I am not an experienced trader . I have simply invested excess cash after making a snap decision. Ok I get it that a fool and his money are soon parted but its my money to lose . I have no intentions when posting other than to say it as I see it. I have no agenda whatsoever. All I know is that the board has traditionally been full of rampers yet in real terms the SP has not really moved that much in the last 5 years. Si I am happy that my uninformed opinion is actually reflected in the SP . But Hey ho all I wanted to understand is the Ioxus situation. I know who owns what all I wanted to know was the current CPX plan of attack
I'm thinking we'll get an operational update this month or next so we should see how well the business is doing soon.
Great post Steve :)
with respect Mr open, you've ignored all the 'help' everyone, including me has offered....at 3p, 6p, 9p and 14p....you ignored everyone's advice to buy or slice profits (it appears from your comments)....your last ten posts provide all the evidence of your mischievous postings, that's fine it's all part of stock market 'games' etc...but please do not expect me or others to believe you are seeking 'advice or help', that is hugely disingenuous..anyway enough of that as it's a distraction to the bb and focus on CPX potential outlook.
Here's some 'help' or an insight imo, IP protection as we all know is hugely important, court awarded Iouxus to pay CPX damages and they are in pursuit, a deterrent to others and a precedent has also been set. Any money eventually received will be a welcome bonus to the main business of manufacturing CPX extensive range of products both new and old.
Re share price, after a steep rise such as we have seen in recent months, a share needs a period of consolidation, typically it pulls back from recent highs (14p) and then trades for a time in a lower range consolidating (to become, or cause something to become, stronger, and more certain) before the next move up if the news supports such (all indicators are business is on track, manufacturing, order book double and increasing etc)...hope that helps ;-)
Surprised. True I have a lot invested in CPX but I have little clue as to how the stock market works let alone IP litigation. To me business is quite simple i.e. you produce a product that customers want to buy at the right price. In the past 10 years CPX has failed to do that and despite umpteen jam tomorrow statements it seems to me that there is always something which comes up with CPX to prevent it flying. Now as a shareholder I am entitled to comment on that but it doesn't mean I have got to sell. In the case of Ioxus I understood that we had been shafted . But there was a recent thread which commented on that situation and I did not understand what was being said or what the implications were. So I asked . Now you don't need to reply but what I will react are condescending comments . People no matter how knowledgeable or gifted are just people at the end of the day. Personally I would help anyone who asks for my help
well there is no need for abusive messages Mr Open, I have no idea where 'superior' aspect comes from, however, you are an experienced investor, been in CPX for many years, consistently provide alternative arguments against your own and others investment in CPX , which in the right context may well be helpful to us all, however, I think history suggests 'mischevious' postings often describes your comments.
It takes all sorts to make a market, both positive and negative, I get that, however , I'm sure we can all be civil ....
it'll help pass the time between the next trading updates or news breaks on some other aspect...Manufacturing should be gradually ramping up in CPX own factory, be interesting if enquiries for new business are still increasing along with news of any new products and uses. The supercacitor outlook iscertainly one of growth and opportunity and the move to energy harvesting, green cre dentials, battery use , IOT etc etc. ..yup a whole lot of topics for debate :-)
a good debate is always fun ;-)
both lazy and mischievous are allowed if others wish to play along , by the way :-)
Morning Mr Open, all that info you 'request' has been discussed many times on the bb and all in the previous posts over past few months and in the public domain....I think you're being lazy or mischievous ;-)
People power . Could you please explain for an oldie like me in plain English. As I understood it when you sell a business there are two options ie a) you can sell the business as a going concern along with any debts or b) you can sell your assets but not your debts. I thought the at is what Ioxus did and said "run along " CPX. Not morally right but a fact of life. CPX even admitted they were unlikely to get any money. I am therefore anxious to understand whats new in this latest development (in plain English) . Is there any chance we will get some money or not and if so how far along that road are we?
Cowboys hopping from steer to steer to escape the Ranger's wrath. It is surely illegal to keep creating these shell companies? How many chances do people get before the authorities step in and say, 'That's enough pardner, just pay the man..'?
It looks like XS Power Batteries also own XS Power, Systematic Power Solutions LLC and Systematic Power Manufacturing LLC i.e. Ioxus
Oh what a tangled web they weave ....
Thanks Peoplepower1,
That answers that question. No escape from the lawyers by changing your ownership. Good.
XS Power Batteries also own XS Power
XS Power website is http://xs-power.com/
