£3 buy out ? This must be a joke surely..haha
Companies normally offer a 40-50% premium on the current SP. SP would need to be £2 to get to £3 and that won’t be happening for a long time. The quicker the SP goes up the better for us but Disney needs to act fast to get a bargain
These guys are more likely to be buying up another cinemas chain instead of selling. Bit of Mooky Magic
Be insanely happy if we were to hit 48 today. That gives us a great base to hit the 50's tomorrow. Just guessed of course. Its feels good just to have 2 green days in a row, let alone double digit green days!
I’m not a technical guy (as you lovely chaps can probably tell from my articulate posts) however, it is worth noting the “resistance points”
19p
34p
55p
63p
........
£1? :D
All roughly -
There should be nothing in the way of us now and mid 50’ s. If we break through the mid 50’s / early 60’s - it will be a MASSIVE psychological victory and we will most likely be at £1 before we know.
Long way to go yet (not time wise but SP wise) - but just thought I’d throw that out there :£
On the flip side, now might be a great time for the studios to negotiate deals in their favour. Once a vaccine does come, cine can hold out for a much greater price.
We are fortunate that cineworld board and CEO hold a lot of shares. They would never sell for £1 per share imo. Far too low. All hyperthetical of course. I cant see a studio evdn offering for Cineworld for a long time yet due to covid. Its still risky waters at the moment. Once a vaccine is released to the gen pop, then we might see some offers coming in.
£3 you are joking. With it below 40p a takeover won't just come in at £3. Expect it'll be £1 or sorocstart negotiations as that gives an immediate double your money return.
Question is why didnt they so that when the share price was even lower?
So if Something crazy like Disney offering them £3 a share as a takeover, how long would a takeover take to complete? And when would the share holders see any benefit?
YES Purchaseatthetop that's great news!
Well done, all.
I just hope we don't see a sell-off at £1.
CINE represents so much long term value and I can see it going back to 150p+ and for those who bought cheap can look forward to a dividend returning sometime in the future.
To put that into context, CINE were paying out 12p/share just last year.
That isn't impossible and would suggest a YIELD of ~30% for those who were savvy enough to buy in the 30s.
My timescale is a minimum of 1 year that we will see the true potential close to £3.
If something like that did happen, what sort of timescale would that take?
Little way off yet, I bought the day the court case was announced, silly. Could've got out and in but held and became more sarcastic. This is a great run, momentum is there, just keep going.
3quid sounds very nice but is it too far fetched...
Well done purchase.. That's the true way to celebrate your luck with all of us.
Congrats mate! Now just enjoy watching those profits fly in.

Takeover talks getting hotter by the day.
I am not giving my £3 worth of share for 50p
