They made the statement that they had sufficient liquidity for the year on 28th May, pulled out of cineplex on 15th June. They would have been aware of possible legal proceedings on the 28th when they made the statement.
"‘Cineworld expects that this additional liquidity, to the extent required, will provide it with sufficient headroom to support the group even in the unlikely event cinemas remain closed until the end of the year,’ said the company."
They already have the liquidity they need, unless you think covid will get worse they should be able to borrow more next year if ever needed.
Cineworld was going to borrow 2.3 billion to buy cineplex, Mooky clearly would have the capacity to borrow more in the short term if ever it was needed. Debt is cheap atm, there is still talk of negative interest rates in the future. Also the banks are much better capitalized and able to lend than was the case in 2008.
Mookys already confirmed they could stay afloat shut for the rest of the year, they wouldn't lie about this what would be the point? If they needed money desperately they would have raised more now both in debt and from shareholders.
AMC in much worse debt but stock way higher no idea why, cineworld seems to get a much harder time than AMC and Cineplex.
if it goes to 30p tmrw ill side with shorters
Cloudy weather today...maybe the article I posted a while back suggesting the stock market does better on sunny days has some truth to it? Bull run with the sun tomorrow?
Shorter guy is still going to get burnt big time. He's just happy at the moment about a 2 p drop??? What about when it goes up 60 p by the end of August upon Tenet Release and reopening of USA cinema's
Yes gonna get his shortassbum burnt like crazy and loose everything
The real believers and holders on will be hugely rewarded before the month of September
@shorterguy thanks for the translation there I can’t read share charts
Facts no so imporatant ? Thank you I have now decided your fate.
Good luck inyour holding, if you actually have one
That's not American English. It's a different word.
@Bouchos, I am heavily into AML at the moment so believe me I am no stranger to volatility lol
I would advise that you learn to spell advice, secondly I would advise that you back your statements up with facts mate that is all. I can come on here and say Cinewrold is doomed to f*** but without any facts to back it up what is the point ? All you are doing is giving false information ? If you take yourself as a serious trader try doing that and your rep might go up a little who knows, you might actually be right but be better to be right with facts than just guessing.
Advise or Advice ShorterGuy ?
Frank if ou have £100 to invest and dont want the volatility but still a good upside look at Primrose buddy
Its a good read but they have there mcap in greatland gold and zero debt
It's a bit difficult to do that with people like you making non fact based comments all over the place ! You do know these are real shares and money yes and not a Troll's BB for dummies ?
viable vaccine probably a year off at best - the sooner the better but forecasts are not anytime soon
LOL and yet here we are with you making it exactly about door knob sizes.
So... shorter guy
Why don’t you obey the law stated below:
Important Message from the Financial Conduct Authority
Posting inside information that is not public knowledge, or information that is false or misleading, may constitute market abuse. This could lead to an unlimited fine and up to seven years in prison. If you have any information, concerns or queries about market abuse click here
And tell Is why you know that cine world is going out of business then... plain and simple I’m sure the company themselves wood like to know your facts??
Like I’ve said no problem with hard facts either up or down, but they have to be 100% correct, or don’t post as the financial conduct authority tell you !
? Wow ? I asked a simple question dude, I have £100 to invest if I so wish, there you go, if you are that insecure you can take that as the size of my d*** should you wish.
Or you could just be an ordinary human being and answer the question
He bought on a spike and decided to open a short and write nonsense
Read his first cine posts proof is in the pudding hes as useful as a cheerleader here except they are sexy and shorterguy still wears y fronts lol
Shorter what is your position on Cine ? How many shares ? Average holding etc ?
Cheers
@iTrader
Results will be a good day.
Losses are expected and factored in. People only care about the plan for the future. Good plan = Nice gains.
Mooky is seasoned and has a strong team of family around him. ?
That was the 2020 crash as cinemas wee closed and a lot uncertainty was there but now they know the plan they just got to prove it work. The results however could be bad.
Wasn’t it 18p in March?
This stock will never go less then 35 as it should have done but the fact that it's open is why it's fluctuating at around 38p for 2weeks
