Mr Bond,
Nothing wrong with Cornish pasties, especially "Philps" , Harry & Sophie's favourite!
Whist in Port Lleven near Helston,I actually found a piece of quart ,breaking open there was a small piece of gold .
That area was mined for copper.
Along the cliff ,now badly eroded the mine working are clearly visible.
Know where you mean,sounds great.
All I could afford was a Cornish pasty .
Sorry, I said two years ago, it was actually last year the bridge was being built, the year before I first met Tiger and made his acquaintance again lase year, his favourite was still the King prawns!
Thanks Mr Bond, I was hoping to go in May but unfortunately that looks unlikely now!
Two years ago Tintagel was like a ghost town when we visited in May due to the work on the new bridge to the Castle running very late, I understand that this had a severe impact on visitor numbers that hit the local community businesses really hard.

Having said that we had the place almost to ourselves and as usual went for some lunch in the The Wootons Inn at Tintagel which was under new ownership and is situated directly next to the very steep road down to the sea and the castle entrance.
Anyway after Harry & Sophie our two Bichon's had decided which garden table we should sit at I entered the bar to order the food.
As I stood at the bar talking to Paul the bar man and deciding what to have I was suddenly aware of a very large black and white cat on the bar stool next to me who was rubbing his face on my arm & purring, Paul the barman laughed saying how honoured I was a Tiger usually totally ignores most people.
Anyway I asked Tiger what would he recommend and Paul said that prawns were Tigers favourite, so King prawn salads with fresh thick cut farmhouse bread were ordered, at that point Tiger jumped down off the stool and and took his leave.
So I returned to the garden with our drinks and told my wife about my meeting with the Tiger the bar meeter greeter , shortly after two magnificent king prawn salads were delivered which we started to enjoy in the Cornish sunshine.
Harry & Sophie were fast asleep under the table and we were about halfway through our lunch when Tiger suddenly appeared by my side on the bench, so what else could I do but share a few prawns with him, which he didn't rush but ate with great relish, after the prawns were gone Tiger spent a few minutes cleaning his paws then gave me a glance before leaping down off the bench and disappearing into the undergrowth at the edge of the garden.
We visited the Wootons quite a few times over the holiday and it seems that Tiger as in the habit of turning up a the bar usually just before we arrived, so needless to say rather a lot of King prawn lunches were taken during that holiday!
Ah I got the right solution. Send gold finger plus james bond for a quick audit. Lol
Thanks Mr Tibbles.
Hope you able to get back to Cornwall soon for a pint of Doombar,or two.
Quite so Mr Bond!
I hope that you remain well and continue to enjoy the view you spoke of during these trying times .
Hi Market,
Some newer members have not had the pleasure of your acquaintance or the opportunity to benefit from your former career experience and also they fail to properly understand the relevance of events as far back as the late 70's, when things pan out as they undoubtedly will and then they will realise that you are certainly no odd ball!
As one well established London precious metals dealer explained to me,'Trump wont beat the Chinese, they are in this for the long game and will pull the rug from under the US when they choose and when they are ready!"
Of course Wall Street, City traders and the bank cartel acquiesce with the the Fed in promoting the idea that the US has lots of Gold bullion in Fort Knox because they want to keep the US Wall street merry go round turning to retain the $ as the worlds reserve currency!
But that may change in the not too distant future and what will happen to the dollar then considering the national debt the US has amassed?

I agree with you Market.
Having looked at the US reserves and lack of auditing, a few years ago..
The more you investigate the more suspicious it gets.
There was not a proper audit done in living memory.Nor testing of what was there.
Called an odd ball after my last post by some new be to this board who has nothing to offer. Over 33% of the worlds gold is mined in China. the last recorded Fed audit was in the late 70's fort knox is empty. 38 Countries use the US dollar as the major currency. The Yen will attack soon as it already has with oil in yen, and with a currency backed with a gold standard look for some highs and serious lows
