Chesh - I can't understand why IreneKrapp and LayLay are so desperate for this to go down. So many more shares to trade in and all they do is clutter this board with utter tripe
Hey Bamps.............!
no mate........... un researched speculative buy on the drop May last year..............!
Warrant here.........? don't know about that, Schroder............... :)
All the best (LLL doesn't like a rise I see :)
Hi Chesh
Were you in Sound when they issued those warrants at 24p to shareholders. What a great move that was, made a bit from those. Can't understand why Cerp hasn't done an issue
Yes I was in T&T a long time ago doing navigation for marine seismic for the UN - I really liked it at Maracas bay, and Tobago at Scarborough and 'pigeon point' - I think it was free diving on the reefs. I thought T& T meant Tyne and Tees:))
The mask will make for a very nasty bikini line joat............!
although........if your swinging......it won't matter............ :()
All the best (straight to the 19th....if open :)
Being an island they should be able to get rid of it quickly like Guernsey has. Trinidad shouldn't be far behind
Malta has done well regarding Covid-19 the first thing they did was shut the airport and now we are free of the lockdown - but masks are the norm and temperature readings for access to the golf club ans shops etc.
Hi Joatmon
Only joking it was the mon bit.
How is the situation in Malta with the virus.
The figures in T&T look promising 177 cases only 1 still in hospital, I can't remember how many unfortunate fatalities but they were mainly from cruise ships.
You are not the only one, I hope we close above 3p today.
I'm surprised this hasn't moved through 3p yet with the huge gains in oil stocks the last few days. With the excellent oil finds CERP has made recently I would have through this would have been one of the main stocks of interest in the sector.
I am a Londoner and living in Malta for the last 38 years - nice weather here, and too small to take sides.
Hi Joatmon
I thought you were a Geordie :))
Hi Lgo
You could be right about that.
From the 28 May RNS it says the key objectives is to keep producing from the MC from S1 and an S2 extended production test before conversion to a full production well.
I'm presuming they will be changing the choke sizes to get the optimum flow and pressure shut ins for pressure build up tests.
ATB:))
OK Bamps21 - thanks for the information.
By the way Joatmon is Jack Of All Trades Master Of None, although I have been in the O&G game since 1979.
Didn’t the company say they didn’t expect to be producing from S2 in H1/21?
Hi Joatmon
Cerp have 2 workover rigs although on the Prd board they believe one will be in with the buying of Innis ( that won't happen).
I follow your logic but I don't believe S2 will start till September and I should have said Q4.
My thinking is extended well tests on 3&4 plus works to sort out the water cut and also procurement of more tanks for MC water separation and LC production .
Another well can't be drilled from the same pad until work on MC complete.
ATB:))
OK Bamps21 - my uniformed assumption was the earliest possible situation for Saffron2 was based on not using the rig for testing the middle Cruse. Of course if the rig is still testing Saffron1 (EWT's?) and then supposing it spuds Saffron2 say mid Q3 logging results would be as you say end of Q3.
Does CERP have a second smaller workover/testing rig available to free up the drilling rig to rig up and spud the next well?
Hi Joatmon
I'm not sure what log results you are expecting by July 12th.
We have the Middle Cruse logs just waiting for the test results from 3&4
S2 not expected log results till end Q3.
The big excitement at the moment should be the Stoiip update on Suriname due end of June. 24m at the moment seems very very low to me, being the opposite of Tambaredjo field which had an original Stoiip of 900m and 167m barrels of recoverable reserves from c300m depth of 5m thick strata. WNZ is a much smaller field so in pro rata about 500m maybe possible in small traps.
EWT production should help to fund additional seismics and aerial FTG but that is expensive but will open up the secrets of this license
ATB:))
I imagine approval for the well will not take much time however we also have to consider the oil price: “It is expected that the well will be drilled in Q3 2020, subject to a stabilised oil price (above US$35 for a sustained period) and operating environment. The well will be fully funded by that third party in return for a share of the production from Saffron 2,” Koot said.
I assume that the outlook for oil will favourable and the well can be drilled soon. From the CERP timeline in their presentation it should take about 6 weeks to drill - less if the lessons learned from Saffron 1 are incorporated into the well design.
Hopefully we will get some log results around July 10th - this is just a guess of course.
14:00hrs onwards yesterday this began to push higher wonder if we can get another reaction like that today.
he was possibly assuming we had started given that Saffron 2 is being drilled from the same pad as Saffron 1 ? :)
Hi Siliv
you are right there has been no RNS on this commencement of the 2nd drill so I don't know where rhodi got that info from
It does appear that only good news is due re flow rates and the fact that our 2nd well drill has started is excellent news. The future is very bright for Columbus Energy and it has taken the new management I believe 3 years great that they will start to reap the rewards for their diligence and control of costs. The more I research this company the more I like it. Have even bought a few more now as expect this to push on from these levels. Expect it to hit another 5% - 10% increase by end of day. But as more pi's look at oil company opportunities then this is definitely one of the better ones at this moment in time for short term gain but also long term imo but DYOR.
