@Amran - I think the reason that ZOE are down 12% today is based on the announcement that they have "only" rolled out to 2500 outlets in the US and didn't reach the 3500 that was projected. I don't think that news would have had any impact on today's small drop here as the SP seems to be trading within a channel here and I think it will do until tangible news is released. There was no mention of the cosmetics sales in their update but as discussed before the bulk of ZOE's business is in tobacco cessation and not cosmetics.
Interestingly ZOE also announced that their Zoetic products (cosmetics, creams, oils and edibles) will be re-branded as Chill along with the company ticker. It shows that the company have thought about branding for target markets and it will be interesting to see what branding we can expect here going forward.
The CBD market in the UK is a bit subdued at present because the FSA have dragged their feet and missed deadline after deadline for their approvals process with a number of companies left in limbo. That will hopefully change shortly and whilst it won't have much impact here should be a boost for the CBD market as a whole.
*cbd market
I think the CBD space as a whole needs a boost we need the gov to give it approval in areas which are quite grey atm this will boost the CBD industry and shed light on it more. Im optimistic about product launch and think it could really give this sp a much needed boost but coming to think about the market sometime is ruthless and unless the marketing/endearments are absolutely bang on then I dont see us going past 15-20p short term just on product launch news. Just my opinion, of course id like to see us go into new ath but without sales and the current cad market pretty unclear then all we can do is wait and hope for the best
Hi Lawrence,
When you say back to the 30s, I don’t think it has ever gone into the 30s?
Anything you can use to substantiate these claims as it seems like a massive increase for only a product launch?
@stew200 , don’t you mean 30p ??
Not long to wait now, product launch soon then back to the 30’s
The random jump yesterday that's all.
Out of interest. On what grounds?
This should be 20p not 7p
