Hi R1
A bit distracted today, after our Holls we did a COVID test, negative
Then the 2 day PCR COVID test, negative
We have just been pinged because someone on our flight had COVID
Guess what, another PCR test needed
I’m stuck in a COVID testing loop
AAAA@##
A pint ? A bit early for me mate, I’ll have a white wine please. Lol
Good luck with the VIC punt, not seen that one before, looks to be going in the right direction today
Had my punt on THG a few weeks ago, finally paying off over last couple of sessions
I like beaten to death shares for some reason, keep looking at BOO, not in yet, but maybe
Hi Spar,
I agree, I have my finger over the buy button
Without any news flow & upcoming dates to look for I tend to revert back to technical analysis, for short term direction
The Bart Simpson looking formation on out charts could also be called a head and shoulders.
I still have plenty of skin in the game just in case it ( and when ) it takes off
Win345 : We are playing the same game , assuming last drop from 12p and my messages caused this a bit :)
As you have said CBX kinda `traders dream` but we are playing with fire..... historic low almost IPO prices,
i have sold almost £50k around 8-7 but causing panic attacks .My gut feeling warning me to buy back the shares asap and dont chase extra %10 or 20 profit because 7p to 14p means double... good luck all
Hi R1,
I have total confidence in the company we have all invested in, but in the short term it is a traders dream as per my previous post, and I am trying a new approach to trade it.
One issue I would like to note today is selling shares was not as easy as I would have liked,I am with Hargreaves langsdown and the max I could sell without assistance was 100,000 down to 60,000 in the finish.
On the buy side I could buy 300,000 no problem, which unseattled me slightly, so I sold more in smaller lots
Part of this exercise was to clarify the delayed publication trade issue I have been wrestling with, today some of them were mine, so I know exactly what the price was when I sold them so in the future I can state with some confidence if someone is buying or selling.
I’m hovering on the buy button…. I missed the sub-7p opportunity a day or so ago and still have faith. I thought it was a strong start today and (again) a little surprised at the reversal… But as expected, there is volatility at the moment and likely to spike/tank a few percent either way, working towards a stronger upward trend as the year end approaches.
Not a bad add for the fact junkies or engineers in us, would be good to get some snappy and visual messaging out their too.
Wheres the new add guys ?
Just out of interest has anybody ordered from CG today ? Just trying to get a handle on volume,
i placed my first order on 7/12/21 at 11.40 am. order number 1127
on its way as per e-mail just now
ps. hi R1 i've had a brain wave how to prove the theory i was talking about, sold half my holding at 2 pm today, dont worry i will buy it back.
R1bobuk :agree with the most of your reply to Cupid there are more things to add but playing with fire these days on other stocks to buy more CBX shares so dont have much of time .
Gamestop couldnt but on 2 other shares managed to double my money but as most of the gamblers i couldnt leave the table when i should :) from your nickname assuming you are riding R1 Yamaha?
Already placed a buy order 6.20p for £40k dreaming that SP might come down a bit and can add more to lower my desperate average
As I wrote like a child
“ Cineworld has a value because it was cash generating pre the crisis, THERE is hope thet will be cash generating again post Covid. I get why they would have a £690m market gap. The gamble is what you are paying for, so that’s the opportunity of paying for an established but troubled company.”
I
I mentioned balance sheet because we can value companies many ways, but the only real asset we have is £9m in the bank. We have no IP, Brand value etc.
We don’t have patents, unique products or customers. So my value is a minimum of 1.6p on £9m cash. The above this has to be the market valuing the opportunity. Currently it’s banking in 6p at a guess and at around 550m shares (inc options et ), that’s around £33m. Seems a lot for a company but I get we have the cash, board, products available, supply chain done.
Now why are you saying minimum of 10p? What stops you from copying what CBX have done as to date, they have only spent £3m and you think that earns them a right to be worth £55m?
Cineworld has a value because it was cash generating pre the crisis, their is hope their will be post Covid. I get that have £690m market gap. The gamble is what you are paying for.
Cupid , i didn't stated a clear price on CBX in my any post and never joined `share price guessing poll`
i told that for me below 10p after Feb lunch not seem very logical. But i see share trading as business of course have target prices-sell points on my mind even though it is quite difficult on CBX
Gamestop , ITM ,Tesla, Carnival , Cineworld.(£8.5billion debt)... please check their balance sheet and tell us if their valuation makes any sense to you ....
Tesla sold less then a million car year before with a trillion dollar market value. Toyota - Volkswagen - BMW delivered 21 million vehicles but all of them not worth a Tesla... (rough numbers..)
In my opinion stock markets do not work like that and i see a different logic how the stock prices increase or drop. I got stuck on CBX because of greedy mistake that i have made for 10% profit on the first day of IP and since then holding CBX...
AA is a smart man with well connections ... how many people can take a start up-pre revenue company to FTSE, get people on board like Peter Wall and convince DB ventures to make an investment on his firm ?
He has raised 13mil and successfully and what i believe is the marketing campaign we are seeing so far is just for stock investors , for us.
They have everything in order , even the delays maybe on purpose... so long story short they know what they are doing very well!
Thanks Jack / R1. As R1 is aware, I’ve been active on the board and happy to wait. I guessed 9.8p for Xmas so not to down on us being 25% below.
Worry is I am struggling to see an upside at all from current levels unless CBX pull their finger out.
As you have said, this is why Alexis as CEO has been chopped. But PW and others are on the board, what were they doing 6 months ago to correct this position.
Jack, it’s certainly not an easy task, and it’s made harder with our start.
Cupid... I think all the points you make are valid and clearly if CBX is to be a success then they have to be a lot more innovative than they have been to date. The new CEO needs to be able to plan and execute a multi-channel marketing campaign that emphasises the USP whilst creating a desirable brand...no easy ask. Time will tell whether my confidence is well placed or not.
But that’s speculation / Guesswork - We don’t know if they will and if they could have, why haven’t they? We have heard the comments on not wasting money as can’t convert to sales, but you still need the reach of people.
Ie, DB Ventures posting up material of trialing the product pre launch? Peter Wall never mentioned it but he only has 15k followers. Not exactly an A lister. Great for investor presence I am sure with Argo, maybe not with consumers.
They are just using the same media from a shoot 6 months ago. Nothing new. Nothing innovative.
Playing off “lab made” isn’t going to convert consumers to sales. Not yet.
The current SP doesn’t bother me, what does is for a company that should be agile, innovative, cutting edge, fingers on the pulse, pushing boundaries, I’ve seen nothing.
I have contacted NT and the Investor relations team on a few occasions. Either investor relations or Neil have always responded. I am really happy to be invested here and the recent appointment of an experienced CEO feels like a huge step forward. As for the reach of the product...we have some fairly heavy guns in PW and DB that haven't even fired a shot yet.
Cupid,
Forward concerns to ir@cellulargoods.co
I did and they came back to me.
You need to stop fixing spar on SP and market value.
The question is, does this feel like at 10p it is a £55m company?
Are our sales / near term forecast / product / Brand / Media presence / Balance Sheet (inc cash) - Value Us at that value?
Had time to reflect this week and months ago I stated the reach of this company is tiny. My wife has more twitter followers.
I sadly got caught up with the idea this company would be the next big thing and I am amazed they have used Cellular goods as their branding.
I expected a brand change. I expected a media push. I expected a better package. They have £9m in cash, why didn’t they use this?
Looking back, I was bought into the hype and was too emotional. Now I’m parking this aside.
If in the near term it doesn’t improve from a package perspective, I will look to divest here when the opportunity arises.
I was a LTH who was optimistic that we had the know how to deliver great products to a wide audience. Now I am not too sure.
I write this was the hope an CG employee reads this.
Amran is having harmless fun
He lives in a parallel fantasy world
Waited more then 10 months, just 8-10 weeks laters will have full lunch , no logical possibility for SP to stay below 10p.
management is active , company actively communicating with investors and have positive RNS flow ... all good indications.
I was quite a bit upset because need to get some cash from my account and was trying to do that without lowering my shares in CBX otherwise wont even touch or sell. watching SP closely and to get more
Amran, you do need to stop stating it will hit X price.
You are guessing - I love the optimism, but as historical guesses for end of year position showed, we are miles away.
@dodge
I have the same question as many will sell around that 10-11p mark, hence why I believe if the sales, marketing etc all stack up and are positive it should break that 11p mark.
I am holding and can see this breaking 11p but CBX need to make the evidence clear.
They are going to have lots of orders from the PI's with 25 quid off;
If they have priced it right they could turn some profit out of that even before the online sales.
Clearly by holding, your judgement has improved
your rewards will be harvested next year
I can see this going over 25p within the next 12 months, however I am not getting carried away and it is not certain it will.
The evidence of product refinement, logistics, sales numbers and marketing should push this up, but we need to wait for that to arrive I believe.
