Everything said Is true all that matters is that they hit oil And what they say is there is. Then it's 2pound to 10pound a share I for one will gamble on a 1 in three chance with 2 more structures after this one.
Casshy - Your original post suggested 2p for years however, your latest post suggests a penny - we were actually well under a penny until last year and well over a penny post May of last year. Therefore the original post makes no sense especially as there was a comment re long time holder I would have thought there would be a little more knowledge of the history of the SP. Yes as others have said it has been very frustrating, though the company have had some bad luck especially when the poo dropped etc.
The company gave an open offer rather than an options offer - options are available for directors etc exercisable under certain conditions.
We may win, we may lose and there have never been any guarantees. I am happy with my lot presently.
Casshy, it has been a frustrating share to hold, no disagreement there.
Also agree on the risks around this share, they are there, some are fundamental risks (no oil in the trap) others, political, financial etc are fluid and change with the winds of time.
I think the company have addressed - or made efforts to address - the most pressing in terms of getting drill ready ahead of the licence obligation.
I have held these shares for almost a decade and have seen this thing before buying go to 22p and as low as a penny...witnessed the 8p spike last summer, before spiking down...it would be good to see this fly but on this" jam tomorrow " share nothing surprises me....I'm just saying that the 2p option is not without its risks...mind you its aim
Casshy- a) it wasn’t a rights issue and b) any comparisons with Sirius are so wrong that they completely remove any credibility from your opinions. Please do some research!
Yea desperation to get drilling and start churning oil out of the sea bed. Stop talking this share down constantly.
To be honest i don't know why you lot do it, those of us that are in are IN and we are staying in.
Most of us have written down our investments anyway. If it makes you feel better to constantly spout negative nonsense then take it to another board. This one has been FAR better recently. In my experience, ONLY when a share gets interesting do we get the negativity police turning up.
Nice to see these posters pop up and pass on their words of wisdom! I noticed your last BPC post was negative (and wrong) Casshy.
The drill is still 4 months away and at the time of spudding the market cap will be higher. There was always a large over hang of shares to clear here... patience will be rewarded IMO.
The rights issue offers existing buyers no bargains...it will anchor the price to 2p for years to come but rights issues generally are never a good thing..its a sign of corporate desperation ...as for companies like Sirius god help them!
