Hi all.
I was reading on another health stock bb recently. Sorry I can't remember exactly which. Likely it was either TILS or ORPH. There has been some covid related delays recently by the FDA which has slowed progress on their projects.
If there is any sort of American connection to BOU then there these FDA delays could also be adding to the slow progress here.

Exactly neilin62. Might sound stupid but if we changed listing names I cannot imagine that is a simple process either.
@theonlywayis... I wish I had your solicitor, I just sold mine and complete on Friday with no backward or forward chain and it has still taken 14 weeks. Everything was physical signatures.
With the greatest respect, this deal is far more complicated than a house purchase. Not only the BOD of Bould, but the BOD of the target co. too. They will have their DD to consider. Who is to say that we have all our paperwork in order, but waiting on other side?
Add in the mix CQC, regulatory bodies etc, this is not something done by 2 people just signing a piece of paper.
I am sure it will all be resolved soon ( i know....how soon?)
Neil
I will take today’s developments as a positive. With regards paperwork, I am in the process of buying a property and apart from the actual viewing, I have had no physical contact with anyone. So far everything has been done on line or by email, but having said that I haven’t exchanged contracts yet.
All the best
If it’s related to the CQC then it will be delayed. They’ve had long delays, understandably...so if it’s cancer detection that requires physical sites to operate from then this could be a factor.
Yes, agree that wet signatures may still be required but surely not on the same document, people could easily be in different parts of the world, as long as they all sign an identical document and have their identity and signature verified by a solicitor/lawyer etc should be good to go
Well not sure if anyone has sold a house recently but that is still wet signatures. It might not be signatures but just think of the amount of paperwork to get this deal final and watertight
I cant believe some signatures can be holding this up?? They could surely adapt and overcome this, gloves on and a screen up etc, i think there’s something else but not sure what
I would say from my experience (currently working in a large bank in wholesale banking) that everyone in the deal will be working from home and that means IF they need wet signatures on documents that could be a slowdown. We don't know when they actually found the candidate but it sounds like they have one. It could be lots of little issues all snowballing into one big delay.
They seem to be alluding to covid being the main issue, unless one of them is on a ventilator or something how Has this made this so slow? Someone said that visiting sites and things maybe an issue, at this late stage im sure they dnt need to check out the premises, any other ideas?
Thanks all for sharing. So one scenario is a relist and fund raise thus further diluting our holding? Not said in any bitter way. Just trying to establish a likely (positive) pathway
Good morning, good news that things are going in the right direction, personally i would not rush to sell once we r re listed, seems everyone is happy with the target
Hi MarkoOiler,
From memory, i think that the replies other had mentioned 2-3 weeks to hopefully be able to give any definitive news. So if we take 3 weeks, that would be about 1st week October (ish)
The fact that accounts show a figure for ongoing transaction is a definite positive.
Neil
MarkoOiler this was the "definitive" we were due within 2-3 weeks haha jokes aside the times just keep getting pushed but it does look promising
Neil thx for reply
Today RNS except accounts is nothing new. How about definitive news we were told 2 weeks?? That's it??
Hi MarcoOiler
I suppose this depend on how you look at things.
I said i was expecting things to be sorted probably by end September. My reasoniong being that they would take the opportunity to submit the accounts and an update at the same time.
An update was included, but not as informative as i would have hoped. Looking on the bright side, it does at least confirm that things are progressing to completion, and not that there was any breakdown, so i suppose that can be seen as positive. Just not as positive as we would have liked.
Neil
Neilin62 any thoughts on current situation here? Almost October and still nothing ffs. Will appreciate your response. Cheers
rnorth, ok mate. All good.
Would not have been as much fun and good banter earning 0.1%
Damn upset now.......just think of all interest we could have all made if we had put the money in a Building Society for the last year....... :-)
Hi Roobler, I meant I’m going to email them if we don’t hear anything this week. Rnorth
rnorth any reply?
Good morning one & all. Just checking in to catch up.
Hey rnorth, let me know if/when you get a reply. Be interesting to see what they say. The clock is really counting down now.
