Hi Lovelyboy
No problem at all. Just wanted to make sure that i didn't give an impression that a deal fell through with what i posted. I agree that whatever the reason for not taking up the extension, it now does seem to be at best, a bad miscalculation.
Hopefully the BOD are on top of this now, and can make amends.
My own personal feeling is that it will come good in the end.
Best regards
Hi Neilin,
I didn't mean to misquote you my friend. I was paraphrasing and trying to recall the content a previous post without being able to see it. The intended sentiment was that an unforeseen delay or set of additional conditions hampered progress and thus we overshot the deadline for extension.
Either way, one could conclude it's poor risk mitigation. The extension could have been taken up for a 'just in case' scenario and not used. Anyway it's too late now, the opportunity has passed and we are where we are so to speak.

Just to be absolutely clear..
I didn't suggest that a deal had fallen through. Just that there was more to sort out than the time scale anticipated.
A very painful journey for many to date. I too am resigned to being left with nothing, but I must still hold a glimmer of hope or I wouldn’t keep checking back here.

UKheaven - confusingly my local Chinese does sell indian.... and it's on the menu... and it's located way to close to be comfy (180 steps).... and it's blummin good....... and when the wind is blowing in the right direction I just can't resist. :-)
Joking aside the sentiment yesterday was erring towards a lack of useful activity by the BoD in acting in the shareholders best interests. I totally agree that the failure to take up a suspension extension was a pivotal moment resulting in the loss of ISA wrapper and tax benefits for many. Maybe this was as one poster has suggested because it was felt that it wasn't needed (a deal was close that subsequently fell through).
TBH I lost faith in an RTO coming off a few months back and have mentally written this off now. Still following and still holding out a little hope - but my investment here is at a level to not hurt too much. I really feel for those here that have put more down, an age ago when this looked like a much better prospect. This also applies to Mr Glogowski. I can't believe that he is not interested in seeing a return on his investment. From my take on him, he's not that sort of a guy.
Nothing we can do - yet more patience required.
Hang in there lovelies.

42 messages!? i thought that some news was out for a moment.....if only....now I just have a rumbly in my tumbly
Excellent, let's hope the manager can inform the customers on behalf of the chef for the incident and keep us informed a new dish is being prepared. I don't want to hear it on the BB. After all, nobody knows any more on this BB. In fact, we all need to be informed as we are all very hungry. Or does somebody already know the spices, the new dish, the ETA, ermmm, maybe, just maybe.
Uk heaven - Bingo!
The menu is all over the place and they need to have new ones printed so you, me, and the bloke next to me knows what we are getting, and what we are paying for.
Easy Fix. Provide a menu in the first place. Then we know what to expect. I won't go to a Chinese restaurant for Chicken Tikka masala, right? If there was some direction in the first place, we wouldn't have to keep pestering the chef ? In this case, the chef has made the dish and decided to put his own foot out and trip over it. Easily done, no problem, i'll take him t the hospital. The xrays are in due course, but can't tell you when.
CC,
Previously you have asked me if i have spoken with Antos directly.
Can i ask what prompted that question?
