CH 14 posts on Bids and laying down the rules from the poop deck gla
Honestly CH you did/said nothing wrong, they could post away here about Bidstack and exchange a bit of chat as they go, utilise general chat options or exchange details and contact each other outside LSE.
The childish we will not post anymore reaction all a bit fishy big you ask me.
Anyway loving all the coverage of Gamescom on Twitter
Just catching up on the day.
thechancers - felt a bit sad that you thought I was having a rant @ HpBob as you're one of my favourite posters. i was trying to be respectful because like I said I like HartlepoolBob, yourself, Thebig128296 and many others. It would be a loss to this BB if you guys stopped posting!
Your reply at the time that senior guys may not get a chance to have a regular chinwag did make me feel a bit sad and I realise the importance of contact with like-minded people (especially as we age).
However, I do stand by what I said and this is a very specific forum and when any of us digress too much off subject it makes for harder reading. We're all invested here. We all want new people getting on board. I'd rather newbies see good info/links etc rather than potatoes. Don't get me wrong I like a bit of banter to pass the quiet "no news" days, we are human after all. Also, potato talk won't stop de-rampers turning up. What we certainly don't need is de-rampers AND potatoes :)
As others have suggested, I'd also highly recommend other ares of LSE or the thousands of other forums on the web where you can chat with like-minded folks about growing veg, lunch or whatever your heart desires . I have forums for: fixing my car, computers, tech news, Tesla, home audio, vinyl, music etc (great communities on all). How about create a 'Bids Any Chat Group'. You could announce it here so we can join in. I'd love to talk to all you guys about your thoughts on Tesla but I don't out of forum etiquette and as an investor i'd be shooting myself in the foot by clouding this board which wouldn't be fair to those who couldn't care less.
Anyway, I tried not to reply (especially this much) but just wanted to reiterate I like all you guys, I didn't mean any offence and certainly don't want you to stop posting. Just more Pubguard less potatoes please :)
I'll leave this matter here. I don't want to be known as some kind of party pooper. Mixed up day for Bids but i'm thinking ahead to Q4 so non of this current -/+ 3p matters IMHO. Long and strong is the way to look at this. GLA!
If users of this BB don’t have the wherewithal to scroll to the last posts they read and catch up relatively quickly then they should not be investing really should they!

Sorry treadcarefully, I hadn't seen your post . I wasn't copying you but it seems we have a similar point of view.
I didn't see Capt-Hindsight ranting. He commented very politely on what many people must think. His 16 likes speaks for themselves. The board is for discussing Bids, not talk of people eating sweetcorn, walking the dog and drinking tea. More appropriate posts are buried which puts people off contributing and it is also against the rules.
You guys make some great contribution which would be missed by at least myself but as a suggestion there is a general chat facility on this site which allows people to open their own board for general subjects such as Brexit, Football, horse racing etc. You could make one about Bobs Onions. This would allow you guys to continue your great posting about Bids on here and your other interests in a more appropriate place.
The CH post (not a rant) was welcome. I had stopped checking in here and commenting because really useful links and comments were being buried in irrelevant blurb.
Actually this is not a public board where you can say what you like, it is a Bidstack specific bullet in board and constant comments about allotments, dinner and YouTube links to music someone happens to like could be interpreted to be disruptive to the purpose of the board and be removed/reported.
The odd bit of banter and chat between familiar poster's is welcome, all day long unconnected conversations ruins the board.
There is a general chat area within LSE - use the share chat drop down above.
That is more like a rant.
Missing a few regular posters today after Capt_Hindsight rant.
End of the day, Its a public board and people will post what ever, I would rather have someone posting about his potatoes than someone de-ramping the company, GLA
