10 years ago this went to the moon when the Ore body was discovered and the drills were turning.. the quality of the ore here is really world class.. Kallak is a monster. I was very lucky (not skill) to get out last time before the big drop and have been waiting for a decade to get back in to this share.. today was that day.. and clearly i would love to see this go parabolic again.. but for all those punters that have been messed about and waited all that time you deserve to be rewarded.. lets hope that time is coming with some new political clout.
no company should have to endure the nonsense that BEM has been through over the past 10 years.. good luck to you all..
Very exciting, certainly feels the closest in years. 7p?! Pfff that's nothing if we get what we deserve!
Hello Sj...Absolutely, the Boss did us proud. Exciting times we're in again. :-)
The open offer last year Suze is looking like a great buy 12 months down the line now at 3.16p. bargain infact, over 100% up since then and more to come??
Thanks 2card. But we regularly/occasionally see sells and buys of +100K so I'm only fractionally wiser. Anyway, learned that the lowest this year was 3.60p and I could have got that from Charts. 3.60 was certainly a good opportunity, but one might not have the cash/guts at the right time. Hindsight, you can't beat it can you. Lol.
Suzy. On a given share on LSE, go to the "more information " bar, then "fundamentals " and the market size appears next to mcap
Hello Tops love it when someone agrees with me! Can't say we haven't had plenty opportunity to buy on dips can we.
As always there is still an element of gamble, however what is BEM worth with a concession, £500m-Kallak is a big high grade resource, 250MT at £100+/ton. For me, I'll hold what I've got and buy on any dips, chances are there will be some over the next few days.
this is definately not the time to try and play the average down game IMO
its HOLD for me 100%
Yes, I did miss the question mark...but I'm still puzzled. Let's see...a person whose average is 15p sells today at 7p and waits for the sp to go down lower than 7p to buy back a few more shares. Is that right? It's actually a slow process and a bit difficult...I've been doing it since my average was 30p so I've got a bit of experience. But I'm only am amateur someone a bit cleverer could have made a better job of it I'm sure. I didn't risk selling any.
Thanks FarEnd...Thought that's what it meant. But I imagine it's only a problem when the pressure is on selling not on buying...and I'm fancying there's going to be more buying than selling in the near future but I could always be wrong, it's not unknown. And nervy folks will take profit soon as they can...which would give anyone a chance to get in cheaper...if they dare. I'm in profit now but I'm not crowing cos I'm throwing it to the Wolves once more. Cheers. GLA
"Last Chance"? You couldn't have missed the question mark Suzy, you even copied it.
Market size for BEM shares is 50k. In uncertain/volatile times it can be taken as a guide and sometimes used by mm's as a maximum number they will deal.
Put another way they should honour a 50k trade but in practice that doesn't always happen.
FarEnd...How do you know it's the "Last Chance"?
What does it mean "restricted to the market size which is only 50,000 shares"?
decent advice; my ave is pretty high but i did buy a few when they were offered last xmas- do we think out market should reach parity with the swedish market; still trailing them significantly.
Those with a high average should perhaps think about taking advantage of this spike, and start thinking about lowering it.
It's always a risk selling against the trend but it's the only way if you want more shares and don't want to put more money on BEM's table.
Let's be honest here, there's not going to be any decisions this week and IMO not before Christmas, so this could easily drop back some, but WTFDIK.
If you wait until a positive decision is made you may be restricted to the market size which is only 50,000 shares.
No-one gets out at the top (only the ones who tell you about it afterwards), never be frightened to take a profit, after all that's why we're here….. isn't it?
Couldn't get a live quote to sell 100k shares, due to order size or volatility, so ATM you've no chance with a larger amount, maybe just an example of what is to come.
As Eric just said, this used to happen quite regularly, GLA.
