Looking good again - must be something a brew or is it the dividend attracting attention -either way looking good.
I didn't want to jump into gloating yesterday and you can see why - the rise was related to speculation and now the CEO denies there is a takeover bid in and the results are what is expected - as stated previously this can go anywhere but probably is just about as good as it will get for a while IMO of course.
How weird - I just remembered exactly the same thing - you sold one the way down - it dropped a fair way from when you sold to be fair so don't feel bad. But you should have bought the day it went under 12 - I did, but only kept them for a month or so I bought too early and sold too early here but still made good profit, just shows what buying into a solid company does. I don't think I'll ever invest in another aim company. This taught me so much about buying and selling good quality co's and being patient.
If only I had been more patient...well done all holders
Foreign bidders vie for Aveva: A pack of European and American conglomerates are plotting bids for Aveva, the £1billion British engineering software developer.
Sorry DAN - i'm in here and I really don't know - IMO this could go anyway or stay where it is - experts are divided -if there is an upshot when the results are released on 19th, I don't see it going above 2000 but if it hits 2000 I would be delighted as I have kept the faith from drop last year. Best o'luck what e'r you do -its a good company and I understand fundamentals are very sound - strong cash flow - little debt
this worth buuying
will it make 2000 by the 19h and then drop off?
We are doing very well over here. It seems to be unstoppable at the moment.
Yep patience does seem to be the order of things until the 19th - then it could go anywhere form there
Well done- more patient than me - £17.56 LP
I am hoping for good results here
Took 1720 ish on Friday - sold out completely but love to buy back at some point as a good co - the market as a whole looks like it needs a correction though
bit = big
Made good money out of these - especially when they dipped to 1200 in a day that was such an easy trade. I have been selling all the way back up but have 1 tranch left that 1 bought at 1711. I could sell and take a slight loss on these as I made a profit overall on the trades as a whole but I refuse to do so. I'll keep till I can sell at 1750 or I'll buy more on the way back down! The trades have been quite active of late and there's still some quite bit buys from time to time
I am not complaining! Glad I bought this highly rated Company also. Trading in line with forecast. However the question is how much more value does this SP leave?
Glad now that i dropped the knife!
Surely not just the brokers forecast? Up over 7%
Anyway on the way up as crude oil goes up.
I just cant read this share - have been riding this out with this share - waiting for a recovery because there is a lot to quite like about this company. I was caught with the drop in SP late last year but bought in as price fell and am sticking with it until it recovers. But what I just cant get is why this drops further as oil prices rise - you would think that it would be the other way around -cannot any one throw any light on this?
lol
Thank you for selling your shares and kicking off the current spurt. It's usually me that sells after months of holding ,the day before take over rumours start , only to watch the share head skyward. Ironically, I nearly sold this morning, as I've been itching to get into John Menzies. That'll have to wait for a few more days hopefully.
Took some profit off the table today and left some shares in that aren't in profit yet. However since I sold it seems its smashed through the second tier of resistance so who knows where its off to. Hopefully some of the higher broker predictions!
Statement wasn't that promising or detailed. Then quick dip to allow the institutions to load more. 7.6% rise today can't see why though but hope T/O on the cards!
statement out soon - fingers crossed
