not so much about the monetary value but to uphold the principal of a lock-in period, as the idea of a lock-in is something that IPO investors will take on board when investing and if the rules can be broken / changed without shareholder (or FCA) approval this easily it kind of makes the principal of a "lock-in" pointless.
I was wondering if part of this new VREQ was to do with the board letting themselves out of the lock up arrangements.
what difference would 9 months make on a stock that is around all time lows?
Only Glen (9.4m shares) and Stephan (4m shares) really benefited from it and if in hindsight they have not sold what was the point?
technically its related to " including discretionary cash payments to the Directors of the Company"
the hound did very well with amigo, after ramping it to high heaven, sold out around 15p. Came back to amigo bb, gloating.
Two important dates coming up. 1st Nov, or there abouts, confirmation of claims
vreq extension (to deal with recent and future claims) This will confirm that amigo are doing exactly what needs to be done since last extension, and fca are happy.
1st Dec (possibly sooner), 2nd quarter results.
Any other rns's (resuming lending (the big one)), would be nice.
As for FCA asset vreq, provides greater security for amigo. Who can blame FCA. JB threatening to take them to court over claims. His side kick GC applies for CEO position, JB trys to take back control of amigo (will he carry out his threat to go to court, and or use the claims provision for other ventures within amigo group, then GC decides to cancel his CEO application with FCA, 3 days before JB's vote. Imagine asset vreq, has dampened JB's future interest in amigo.
Feel much safer invested here now. Just a question of time.
Hi Gabriel,Ii fully concur with your assessment of GJ's historic achievements, but for me, although past behavior is a good indicator, i'm more interested in his strategic vision for the company.
This is the week when we shall know how his framework is to be achieved with specific KPI's
Those that are invested in Amigo, especially those that Invested at higher levels like 20p and 250p:
This week in my eyes has been quite momentous week in terms of a complete shift in Paradigm.
I have no reason to doubt that the CEO Gary Jennison does not keep his word and also that he has already successfully turned around 3 other PLC's.
He is surely aware of ALL the details of the company and he has clearly stated is objective is to turn this company around.
In the absence of any evidence to the contrary.
I for one, believe him
Whatever the past issues were with the company we now have a "Turnaround Expert" on board with networks of contacts through his amazing career that I can only imagine.
I do believe that the very best outcome for this company is a Successful Turnaround for the 405 staff and their families who depend on them and the potentially 100,000's of Retail Investors, not to mention the many people and families that will perhaps achieve life changing things from an otherwise unavailable source of credit.

I know cardinal. Some have though. I guess some folk deserve it but it doesnt read well if anyone thinking of getting involved comes to the board. As you say there seems to be little logic with these posts anyway...before filtering I read a post saying if NSF are being investigated for fraud then likely amigo would also?? it begs belief really. Anyway enjoy your evening fellas (and ladies) big days ahead.
hello amigo’s , ive not been on here since the vote .. Hound dog , well aren’t you a little bundle of joy ..., heres an idea .... either put money in Amigo , at a great price , better than 90% of us ... and join in discussing the future of the company ... or **** off ... its that simple
Greatcrestednewt, I have not been abusive mate, i dont do that, i look for logic in any assertion, of course we all have a filter choice
A think the FCAs decision to freeze AMGOs assets is a good indicator as to what's going to happen next.
And its not going to be pretty.
All jokes aside guys, I do think the fraud investigation will be the straw that breaks AMGOs back.
Gla
Come on guys this thread reads like advfn?!
Rise above it. Filter or ignore them.
Question though...does this site have a limit to the numbers you can filter? I'm at about 40 or so now!
Hot Dog You was going to put your money where your mouth , You chickened out ???
Come on man do the right thing !!
Tell us - Are we still missing the VReg tomorrow ? NO WERE NOT !!
ITISA
I don’t disagree buddy
It’s HH that tried to get us to leave here and invest there. If I had more capital I might even have a punt there. What made me laugh was him saying he had sold NSF at 5.2 after ramping it for weeks
NSF v Amigo - if you hold either good chance you will make 500-1000% from current prices within a year or two, why does it have to be one V the other, just play both worst case if one falls the other makes it up and a profit anyway. ;)
When NSF go bust we ll mop up more business. Hound wont be able to participate with much money as he d have lost a lot and his buy in will be 20p+. He should probably swallow his pride and jump on board instead of swallowing his pet dogs cum.
Richmond. You must of missed it. Puppy poodle was boasting last week about how much he made out of NSF. HE! Said I bought at 4.8 and sold at 5.2. Lol
I’m surprised he’s still here and not flying around the world on his private jet lol
God he’s entertaining;)
Chin is up in anticipation my boy :) come back and let us know though please :))))
1p up on your prediction last week
You getting soft on us ? Lol
Unfortunately I think amgo may just see 6p this week.
Chin up guys.
OMG my little puppy poodle
I’m sat on a beach and I still have time for you because you make me laugh sooooo much. The freezing of Amigo assets? I spat my beer out when I read that lol
Last week you said NSF would ROCKET on news and Amigo would 5p by Friday and today you are saying Amogis assets are frozen to scare those that don’t know. What will it me next week ? You’ve been stroked the wrong way by GJ and he’s in court for animal cruelty?
HH I love you, please keep it up my boy. Although I doubt you can. Hugs and kisses from canaries xxx
Hound dog I miss you when your not about !! How you get anyone to argue with you is beyond me bud !? Hope your well my son and those brain cells are ok :)
It's fairly straightforward to understand that all the cash AMGO has on its book is actually the lenders cash. AMGO are not worth very much once you take the £300m complaints payments into consideration.
Once the lender hears about the impending fraud suspension, it will call in its loan, then its goodnight Amigos.
In another note, Nsf look like their gonna have a great week ahead of them. Hope you all took a position last week at these super cheap prices?
Poor old HotDog is getting nervous about NSF’s worse than expected results next week :)
They Sure dipped into the close on Friday and I know a few people have jumped ship there and bought in here :)
If Amigo was being investigated for fraud there would have been an rns saying something along the lines of...we are ivestigating amigo for fraud...lol
No your right Amigo do things the right way unlike nsf, I agree.
