I've got just under 11m. Happy to hold for another 3yrs. If someone comes in for that graphite just like musk did on a neighbour, all bets are off.
Don't get too stressed about what will happen next week.
#nookie, same I started with a smallish amount ended up with 4.7 mill and 39% down,.oh well s,,t happens let's hope things change round,
The market is in unforgiving mood. Assets seem to count for nought. Cashflow is all. Therefore if there is an hour of euphoria upon launch you just know it will fizzle out. Until there is actual cash generation I doubt either Greenroc or Alba's share price will go anywhere. It's a question of patience will be rewarded I believe
I sold out of EUA to early not making that mistake I will wait patiently …..

Good weekend all
The concept of Greenroc gaining a higher MC than Alba is not lost on me, in fact it's quite funny. Something that could bring in an unexpected windfall, given the ongoing fuel issues and PRICE increases is HH (wild card for sure but it does exist.)
Best case scenario is Greenroc unlocks the suppression. Be like JAY, ACP mcaps added to the goldmine…..dreaming lol
I’ve always wanted a 1p target but I have 20x more shares than before
Nookie
Wouldn’t you want to hold until 1p Atleast you have done the hardest part ? Waiting all this time ?
Surely 1 2 years should see that if he pulls his finger out ?
Tree shakes to the last minute….I can wait til 0.5+ before considering selling.
Alba retains 54% of £11.12m at the launch price, so 46% or £5.12m is being injected into the group, with 22.9% already being held by other significant shareholders.
In all the time I've been following Alba, and it goes back quite some time now, this is the most significant equity raise they have undertaken.
It provides a measure of their ambition to advance their projects and at a greater pace than in the past.
I believe it marks a watershed moment for the stock and this, whether the market recognises that watershed moment straight away or not.
Always expect the opposite to happen on Aim, it avoids disappointment. ATB.
So if the SP of Groc rises, then those shares become a readily valued asset of ALBA and valued at a far higher level than as an internal component of ALBA. There is a tranche of larger private investors who have made a strategic decision to get exposure to Greenland mining assets and probably include the likes of JAY in their portfolio of such investments. The rump of Alba's assets may make it less attractive, not those assets dont conform to the profile of their investment strategy.
I see Groc sp rising well clear of 10p IPO price. The reason I believe this is as follows. If you look at First Equity's research note of June 2020 then it values each project with a justification of why. Check that in comparison with the mcap of groc plus the 5M in cash .. or you could look at it like ALBA selling greenland assets for the 10p a share ipo price. Either way, it looks like the spin off is at a discount to first equity's research note valuation.
Some of you may remember that I did my own valuations on these and my main area of disagreement with the first equity research note was the valuation of Amistoq, which I valued as a past working mine and not a virgin resource.
Since then considerable exploration work has gone on which I expect will triple the value of the resource at TBS but most considerably appreciate the Amistoq resource as a maiden JORC resource. Naturally, GROC ipo investors will anticipate the need for capital raises for further development , however as JAY have demonstrated, finance may be available of a more geared nature and success in gaining this is likely to have a big impact on the SP over the coming years.
The main present value is in TBS and Amistoq. The others are in far earlier stages of exploration.
The market so far is not interested.
Two more trading days to launch … and nothing is happening, nothing, zero, nil, nada, zilch.
I remember KIBO, may now have come down to the previous SP levels, but leading to their MAST IPO launch it was moving up and went to more or less double in SP after IPO launch. We do not see the same interest here.
The question is why? Need a clue?
For me no to very little change a few percent at best. Market was unable to decipher before what Alba is with all its diversity with a spin off doesn’t change Alba in my view as the market is still waiting to see gold or production of gold it’s that simple for me.
We may drop a little to shake a few holders into dropping perhaps and some may think and believe green roc will move quicker as it’s proven in essence and is easy relatively to pull out will have big players sniffing around that as it’s in high demand resource.
I think this is why the interview and the RNS was so detailed and using his magic sprinklerd words which we all are familiar with now to convince people to hold or add here.
All ofcourse imo I have a small holding 3mil wil hold as I do believe it will come good when ? No idea hopefully quick enough to enjoy the rewards if any

Not expecting much for the first few months, after all it's only a transfer at this stage, need to get it monetised, then we're be talking!! Gla.
a guess 10%
Of course it does but I'm asking what people are thinking
It does but I'm asking on what people's views are
does that not all depend on what the market thinks of greenroc?
Interested to find out peoples ideas on how high albas sp will go when green roc is launched serious answers please.
