A very interting read on AVDFN, check it out, could be on to a good thing here.
A ticking time bomb!
Double your money make yourself rich
The spreadsheets that have been posted are very encouraging and if they are 50% right Alba is very undevalued.
Thanks elir
Its customary to value totally unproven assets as their acquisition cost and exploration cost to date. That's not to say I don't think it has any value, its more of an opinion on how it contributes to the share price. Clearly there is a disconnect between sp and fundamental value as evidenced by the sp drop on the day we announced the acquisition of exploration rights to Gwynfynydd. Following that logic the market judged that you can't give away gold mines.
I'm very confident that all will be well, except for brockham. What's not included is an analysis of horse hill going for simpler vertical Wells. It assumes a full Greenland exploration season on amitsoq and tbs

Anyway, I'm off out of Internet range for a few weeks, so I'd expect a lot of this to get superseded in the meantime

A very good working paper there.
Regards the 10 targets i concur with the nil value per yours. For what it is worth, In my thinking I attribute a 100k au oz strikes to at least two targets out of the 10 (they are digging for size right?). I understand one target is 4x size clogau and The recent vein find of 2.1m, suggests to me this is not an entirely wild assumption in my thinking.
Blue - this is the link that I have from one of Elir's posts last Dec.

Elir - I hope you don't mind me re-sharing?
@elir
Is there a link to your working paper please?
Employees and directors buy ins. They may not be allowed to do so if they are deemed to have 'insider knowledge'. However I believe the upcoming warrants are vested in them, which they may exercise and hold
I've published an updated warrants position spreadsheet and kept them updated see previous posts, it's on a shared Google drive. Some ex price 0.42 expire late March.
I did pose a question about budgets for each project before the q and a voxmarket, but it was not answered. I'd expect financial report in about a month.
The key if they do a financials release what is the debt state and how had the warrants been spent what is our future spending going to be focused. We need to see how derisked we are if we are looking at placements or if we can JV also can we afford to do all the things they are promising remember for now we are loss making so don’t expect outstanding results like. I would love to know how the warrants have been spent and the plan to utilise them they clearly have a reason to give options at set prices if only we knew why!
Great post kitty.
Going by last year the next annuals might be out around April. I'll be eyes down for that particular release.
I'm invested in ALBA since 0.19 area and bought up to 0.42 - it feels like a great opportunity but I do wish at these price levels some of the new staff would buy in. Or director buys etc. Simple gestures to give confidence. Also kitty on a side noted I followed you into lamprall at 22pence so thanks for that.
excellent post
Agreed, I was in EUA and blew it, but I'm still holding GGP and UFO, they're coming along nicely. I think alba are brewing well, it won't be too long before we can have a sip with a big slice of cake.
Good posts kiity!!
A reminder from last 31 March Annual Trading Results
“ we have identified and then moved to secure majority stakes in a range of undervalued assets with real production potential, has been the right one to pursue. With the current turmoil in the investment markets, our strategy may take a little longer to execute, however we remain confident that it will ultimately bear fruit for Alba and its shareholders.”
We now know more about these significant assets so come this March 31 annual update we could see a re rate of the Market valuation
Patience will really reward on a multiplier here IMHO - why?
> @ 0.30 the Market Cap is £19m
> Alba have £8.87m assets / £8.38m Net assets
> Projects / Interest
Mining Projects
- Amitsoq (graphite) Greenland 90% - CONFIRMED high grade
- Clogau (gold) Wales 90% - news still coming out here - DRAINING soon
- Gwynfynydd (gold) Wales 100%
- Inglefield (copper, cobalt, gold) Greenland 100%
- Limerick (zinc-lead) Ireland 100%
- Melville Bay (iron ore) Greenland 51%
- TBS (ilmenite) Greenland 100%
Oil & Gas Investments
- Brockham (oil) England 5%
- Horse Hill (oil) England 11.765%
- IF they achieve a Market Cap of £100m from the active projects that is 526% from here let alone where it should go
The Market size & demand for high grade graphite for Lithium ION batteries in cars is huge
“ 36.7 billion in 2019 and is projected to hit USD 129.3 billion by 2027, at a CAGR of 18% from 2020 to 2027.27 Nov 2020”
And they also have the biggest known gold mine here in the U.K.
...... and they are valued @ £19m - hmmmm let me think if I’m happy to leave my money here for a few years - absolutely
So the question is - With the above Fundamentals in Net Assets & Projects, which way do you think the SP will go?
We have seen 0.50s already on the release of positive news in the above stated projects. Other mining stocks like EUA, GGC & UFO have had similar movements.
You decide.
