MT my only agenda is to try and make a profit, I can't recall exactly the % rise in the run up it was just from memory. In any case there will be another cash call soon and historically it has been at a low SP is all i'm saying, doesn't mean it will happen again of course and if the seller clears then things could be different.
Oh you actually got incredibly lucky did you Daz? You peaked my interest a tiny bit. I checked the daily percentage changes for AFC going back to Sept 2019. Err... you’re wrong. I looked at the last two occasions where we’ve had rises like this and there WAS NOT two subsequent days of 10% increases followed by weeks of falling and a cash call. You wouldn’t by chance have an agenda would you, hmm?
If I had done nothing and just left my initial investment I would be 60% down on my investment, since I have been trading I am now approx. 150% up.
Hi BB. I actually got incredibly lucky last week, when I posted that I had sold at 19.6p my sell didn't go through, I only realised after trading that day so sold the following morning at 24.5p giving me a 50% profit in 1 month, I bought a month earlier at around 16p.
If you look at the last 2 occasions where we have had a 30% plus rise it has followed 2 days of around 10% rises, and then a few weeks of falling share price before the next cash call. The last 2 raises were 4 months ago and raised enough for 5 months trading so we should see another raise within the next month. Obviously nothing is guaranteed but so far I have been lucky.
If TUVA put out a tweet last week don't expect anything anytime soon. The poor boys must be exhausted.
Yep, you'll never get a straight answer from the AFC tart. Just get while the going's good! A bit like John and Edwina I suppose!
I am very happy with my position in AFC, having topped up several times during times of share price weakness, it's the only way I have managed to stay sane with this investment. I said months ago I no longer see this as investing as investing involves having some knowledge to be able to make an informed decision. As AFC basically answered all my AGM questions as if it had been David Brent answering them, i.e don't care, not interested, don't know, etc. this is a pure gamble and all i'm trying to do these days is align my buying/selling in line with Shroeders and so far it's working ! Anyone heard from TUVA, they put out one tweet for one of their other clients last week.
No. Just take profits when I can then buy back in when the price is good. I think the proposition is sound but until they get substantial orders in, the SP will be all over the place. To be honest, if I'd not hung out for £1 and sold at 79p when it got there I'd be a lot better off with cash and the number of AFC shares I hold.
If they land a massive order and the SP starts to climb on a really solid action or piece of news (rather than a pension fund buying or selling) then Ill hang on for as far it goes. Meanwhile... another vodka and coke Tracy?
Reonin, are you planning to pump and dump her??!
... and very profitable for them!
I have to say that when I first invested in 2006 in AFC I treated her like a loyal girlfriend. I would stick with her through thick and thin. But now, after being royally messed about over the years AFC seems like a ditzy, unreliable, capricious and fickle , good time girl. So now I'm inclined to wait until she's a little drunk so I can take advantage of her and get back all that wasted time and investment i.e do what you're complaining about i.e. take a short term profit and buy back in on a slump AND I won't lose any sleep over it either!
I just wish that someone would escort the seller from the building as their constant selling into any rise is becummings very tiresome.
Yes exactly, Beth Rigby (would though) ;-)
BB, You can't prosecute a man who hasn't broken a law! This is dresssed up to dilute Brexit, all the other parties (bezzy mates it seem) are meeting today to try and hammer the government down. If find it hard to believe that you can't see all the msm are gearing up for the same? Enough from me now on this horrid episode
Oggs to be fair you have have me on that one .Although he was appointed by boris
Every political party has one BB...
Very true Notes.
That's what it's all about Notes, spot on!
Haven't sky news got anything else to talk about apart from DC driving 200 miles and causing many beaches to be over crowded. Good start to week. (AFC that is)
…..except Durham. And only for very good reasons. Obviously.
He's got some stones that lad, and something on the Government I suggest. He's going nowhere
Hi Seance- I think he should be renamed Dominic Goings :D
The media storm that's brewing? Other than the Cummings one ;-)
What’s driving this?
