Back over 4p
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend
Added 200k shares this am at 3.92. More to come (thanks to VIX and Brent contracts!)
I too have taken a view that the break above 3.95p today was significant so bought my last tranche for now.
( I will need successes elsewhere to release further funds)
GLA
Onwards and upwards!
Looks like the bottom's in to me.
4p paid
See Ya
@wyn, but I would still say it's "cheapshot" tactics. It's not to my liking and that's what I have voiced.
Some people maybe happy to trick others, its not the way I play.
Agree with your last para
Thanks for the reply amin, and I am not having a go or anything just discussing this view point as (as I said) it comes up on most BB's at some time or other.
You said: "I feel for people who may have read purposefully negative posts and sold for no reason. I appreciate that is investing but that kind of behavior, likewise, isn't honorouble.
Basically (imo) tough. If someone has invested in a stock comes on to a BB and sells because they get nervous because of a post that has no merit then they should never have bought in the first place.
I have said on many occasions, that I think by and large, all these BB's do more harm than good for either LTB&H, or either very new investors, or simply over emotional folk who simply cannot deal with the fear & greed that this type of activity generates.
:0)
@wyn
I was referring to someone's specific intention to sell the stock and then spread negative sentiment with a view to buying back the stock at a cheaper price at the expense of people who may have got nervous.
A trader maybe trading the stock , etc etc. That is totally different from the above and both scenarios are distinct and separate.
I'm not calling out anyone specifically, it serves no purpose because I don't know people's intent.
I feel for people who may have read purposefully negative posts and sold for no reason. I appreciate that is investing but that kind of behavior, likewise, isn't honorouble.
amin, I mentioned 3.6p as a support as the SP closed below 3.95p in a request for a TA slant on things but specifically said it did not mean it would fall to there.
I did say , should I want to top up I would think about it, if it got to that level.
I am going to risk some push back on this as it comes up on other BB's too.
you said :
"If you sold yesterday and purposely started to de ramp the stock trying to get in at a cheaper price for your own selfish gain and in the process caused some grief and stress to less experienced holders, i really hope you get spanked and you cant get back in at lower than what you sold at."
This is a game where typically PI's will purchase stock at £1000's at a time.
If an individuals are new to this then they should NEVER EVER buy more than you can comfortably afford to lose. Then whatever happens they can rest and sleep easy, but this is a game for grownups and if the individual can't deal with the ups and downs then they should not invest.
Stocks fall for a variety of reasons, it should not be assumed that to discuss such falls or potential falls, makes any poster a deramper.
To immediately catagorise posters as such, can create animosity that is often misplaced.
Cheers
Personally speaking I don’t really go in for the terming of some posts as ramping/de ramping- I believe posts in here have a mere amoeba of any effect on the share price.
What I do really appreciate is to hear both the positives as well as the negatives. In fact I usually look out for the negative posts first and foremost when I’m considering something.
Let’s face it, ALL CEO’s are dwarves and sophisticated but that disent mean they’re akways honest with us. ADV bod in my view have been borderline- I’m not very impressed.
@ you wyndrum you deramper :-)
@wyndrum
no one in particular, i saw some comments about it yesterday , its a general point, i saw 3.6p knocking around as a figure
Who are these 3.6p boys that are referred to?
@seagull
I would never ever have any kind of ill feeling or jealously to a fellow private investor. We are all in the same boat, we cry and smile together that's all part of the game.
BUT
If you sold yesterday and purposely started to de ramp the stock trying to get in at a cheaper price for your own selfish gain and in the process caused some grief and stress to less experienced holders, i really hope you get spanked and you cant get back in at lower than what you sold at.
Sorry I had to say it.
Stay the course brothers and sisters
@Amin
I'd agree with you. If there were going to be a negative reaction to the rig being 'within the next 2 weeks', I would have thought we'd have seen that by now. Doesn't appear to be the case, so any short-term traders looking to get enough of a drop to make it worthwhile are likely to be disappointed. No guarantees of course, but price looks like it has support at this level.
This is a temporary drop, give it 2 weeks and hopefully the SP will go up, such a good opportunity and its only 2 weeks delay.
If you flip it, they have told us that the rig will be with us in 2 weeks thats not along time at all, better than saying later this month so suggests it will arrive sooner rather than later.
They will be desperate for it to drop so they can post the "i told you so" posts :-)
Looks like the 3.6p boys got it wrong. Unless you desperately need the cash, no sane person selling yet
