Flood gates opening?
I find it distasteful when you talk about money as well Callum (wink), leave that messy business to me, as an accountant I don't have the normal social accepted barriers you see...
#sendingloveforUkraine
Spot on Callum. Some things are much more important than money. Atb.
Just remember that people are suffering out there in Ukraine, in the UK

And those who invested in oilex at a high.
That why I find talking about money distasteful.
I'm hopefull in the next year or two oilex will deliver for that last category .
Best of luck
Oilman
Probably me and Conger have been here the longest .
I deliberately downplay myself but I do like feedback from every poster even the negative ones .
I'll be honest I find taking about money crude but trust me on this never judge a book by its cover (or a person)
I believe some people on are on this board in £2.2bn funds and those funds instruct people like Ruffer ,XPS where to invest money.
As I said prove the field and get CCS working and the funds will get involved .
CCS is actually the bigger carrot due to ESG
That's a 3 -5years time with plenty of opportunity to trade just look at star energy
Nuff said ,I never normally open my mouth any more .
Looks like we are moving now
Oilman. I have never said Oilex wouldnt/couldn't succeed, except that it's not totally nailed on. What is? I sincerely hope Oilex is as successful as you expect and we all wish.
Of course I will change my view if things progress, it woukd be absurd not to.
There is a famous quote from John Maynard Keynes, " When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?" Gla.
You've been convinced of this for months. Hope you are right eventually.
Yuri. Lol.
For your benefit oilman. Yuri and I, have disagreed many times over the years often quite acrimoniously. However, if anyone knows that I am not a trader, deramper, ramper, have an agenda etc etc, it's him. I just say what I believe, whether in or out. Gla.
Well good morning oilexers.. what a lovely day.
Everybody ready to make good money.. ;-)
Can we focus on what is imminent rather than niggling comments on an anonymous bulletin board
I'm happy with where oex sits currently but am convinced over the coming days the floodgates will open and we'll see a sea of blue trades.
Gordon you cheeky trader!
Please stop distorting what I say. I never said Oilex doesn't have a reasonable COS. Just asked why the market wasn't buying it.
Jasper. Great that they have confirmed that they believe it to be 90%.Atb.
Agree not a sea, but clearly interest is growing and people are wanting in before the imminent need lands.
I see a strong blue finish here today and tomorrow, with a Monday 7am RNS potentially on the horizon.
Blue is good Princes, but not sure it's a sea just yet. A small lake perhaps?
Oilman. If you had been here more than 5 minutes you would know that Conger has always been one of the biggest cheerleaders for Oilex and has made a lot of money from it. He and I have disagreed many times but have never felt the need to impugn one another's motives as you seem obsessed with. Very rude to insult people you dont know.
Taken my last few at .208 going to be a mighty fine Spril here imo . Looking forward to perhaps news even tomorrow. I don’t think 0.2 level is justified for where we are now and watch as the phoenix rises from the ashes
"My company made £2 million last year."
Shall we compare dick size as well? lol
I enjoy your posts and insights, Oilman just having some fun.
Gordon has always been a bit negative. lol he was shocked he made money last year! Imagine Melvin from hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy .. he is scientist and if he can not prove it himself he does not believe it! lol
I think what really matters is what the market thinks and I see a sea of blue...
Just to clarify - I was given the 90% COS figure directly, which relates to the chance of success for the refrac. I was and am very heartened by that.
Yes over 50m shares held, also spoken to Roland , Joe and Ron. Bah bah bah ....
Who said i saw a poor COS? I certainly did not... lol
I banked around £80k profit last spring, selling on the peak and rebuying later in year.
Like it Conger. Nothing wrong with optimism but there is no such thing as a certainty.
Oilman. I have lost count of the number of people over the years, who have accused me having an agenda. Utterly ridiculous! Of course I can see the positives, including CCS. That is for the long term and presumably investment in that depends on the success of Cambay.
As I just said, I am more confident than I was, but 90% is patently absurd. I ask again, why doesn't the market see it that way? As for asx, give me a break. Up 12.5% on 250,000 shares traded. Meaningless. Currently, unchanged here.
I have never had an agenda, whatever that means, and those who have been here a while and know me, know that to be true. I reinvested in Oilex, after getting out with an unexpected profit, for a bit of fun and in the hope of making a bit more.
You seem to take the view that if you are invested in a share and things dont go as expected it is somehow almost sacrilege to comment on it. Dont get it. Still hopeful of making a few bob over the next year or so, and having a bit more fun.
Please dont come back witb your usual, somwhat insulting comment, that anyone who isn't 100 % on your wavelength shouldn't be invested. Atb.
