It looks a fabulous product. Its coming at a crazy fast pace https://devwww.watchairtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/schedule-6.jpg. We as a company were working with them throughout Justin's 3 year dream period. We like it and are happy for them, i find that all very interesting.
JJ, Hardly transparent if a 'collaboration'... would consider that a backdoor agreement in current circumstances !
Hi Shaa, I too feel uneasy about the 'congratulations' from Mick... and am wondering what that is about ... jury's out on that I guess for the time being. However, Park has a few patents himself which may overlap from 2012- 2015
Or a collaboration, piggy back beta. Its very interesting.
Hi east, was discussing with JJ earlier that if Epict ripped off our Tech then would be publically congratulating them. Hard to follow with many complex scenarios.
Im sure if it was a rip off our exec's wouldnt be so happy for them. Where do we in a B2B mannere fit ?
Evening JJ/Shaa, Yes, did look it up and had a look... cant deny that it does certainly look VERY similar to the workings, but with differing hardware... it would be difficult to pin down whether this is a ripoff of MTV's workings, or even if Lenny has something to do with it... after all that area of the world is notorious for ripping off tech that they have been given to produce by western companies... I do remember MP agreeing that could happen when discussing with him a few years back but was obviously a cheap but bad decision to manufacture there !
Evening East, this is the same watchair I was babbling on about to you at the liquidators meeting. Did you get to look at it in relation to ours ?
Why not file the accounts and wind it up if its over. Have many followed the watchair links so a discussion can be had ?
Just thinking out aloud guys, but if it's game over then why are we still updating Facebook UK page? Also, with WatchAir virtually using/ripped off our Tech (allegedly) then why are we openly congratulating them? Why are all the big players still listed as working for Motive Television? Who knows.
Good evening east. Nearly a full house. Very cheery
Nice to see News back on here with a few other old names... not checked in here for a few weeksm so just catching up. News, my account still active, and old posts ARE still on here (well I can see them all) but have decided I cannot add much in the way of useful input now, so unlike silly blochers and his followers, choose not to post here unless something worthwhile comes up
hi 316NOSE. Just saying really with time rapidly approaching d-day i dont get the feeling that its a company slowly winding down to face the inevitable.
hi parkez, with the amount sold likely to be very low I would imagine that IF a new product comes out anyone owning the old version will simply be able to return it for a full credit towards any "new version". you are right in that amazon would certainly not want to be seen as assisting in the sale of a product with no future after sale service.
" I really don't buy into it. It is this "more to life than money" attitude" well you wouldn't would you having lost all your money and never having had a life........................
so anybody been in this situation before? whats the normal course of events for a company that will not exist in 21 days time. the tablet tv product being sold as normal and things being updated...looks like business as usual to me?? been off here for a bit so can anyone say how long the uk version has been sold by motive television services ltd? to me if the company was not going to exist soon surely there is a legal obligation to stop selling the product that will have no after sales service? Amazon must be aware of the situation, would they still be wanting to sell a product with the inevitable backlash from customers when they find theres no after sales service and the company dosent exist a few days later? why has the price not been reduced? something is just not right...i really want to put closure to this but just cant help but feel we still have a few chapters left! 21 days ...like waiting for christmas lol
No share is without risk - especially on AIM. We all know some well known financial shares that went bust or fell though the floor in 2008 or over the last few years. A profits warning can wipe out 80% of a share price value overnight - I know from CRAW recently... what harm is it doing to YOU that some here want to catch up and/or say goodbye - you never were invested here - so why do you care is beyond me... get a life and post on shares you actually hold will be my advice ... .to you!
Glad you are keeping well Bing. Some things are far more important than what goes on here. Leaves a sour taste but I've decided to try and take something from it and move on.Hope that you get your appetite back for investing. We just backed a loser, that's all. It happens to the best. Good Luck Cassius
I don't know how I would feel if I had been lied to face to face as some shareholders were. It's bad enough by email etc.
Thanks bing. I promise I will quit when and if it is over
https://twitter.com/tablettvuk/status/785529335100891138 Nice to see so many shareholders on the page
Hi Steve / Cassius hope you and your families are all well. Its a sad state of affairs here with MTV closure would be nice as you have both said money written off now more important things in life than just money. An explanation would be nice but as you and I know very well I doubt that will ever happen. One thing is for sure in less than 22 days time I guess we will all know. Cassius glad your having some luck on the FTSE 100. As when we last spoke still got no time for the markets at present have withdrawn everything from every where apart from my SIPP. Maybe next year I might start looking to reinvest again but for now more pressing issues I have at hand. Good luck and all the best to all And JJ I admire your admiration and determination don't ever change. Bing
Thanks for your post Steve. It's more or less how I feel about the whole sorry episode. I was in contact with the board and just like you was given the story that they wanted me to hear. My decisions,my investment,my loss,my own fault for believing the bull. The warning signs were there when TabletTV didn't sell.Hopefully I've learned some lessons (albeit expensive ones). Never trust anyone involved with the Aim market. Never chase losses and don' t get emotionally attached to a share. All advice that I'd been told at one time or another but I have to learn the hard way.I wrote this off when it delisted and moved on. Concentrating on FTSE 100 shares at the moment. In profit as well!! Going to take a while to recoup MTV losses though. Best Wishes Cassius
Always :~)) Thanks so much Steve for coming on to clear the air. You are missed. There are a few dealing with much more than money family issues so to all of you I hope your prayers are answered. Gl
News...nice to see you posting again & thanks for all your contribution over the past week. Morning JJ, Shaa, Nose, Snax, Bing, Shylock ....and any others I have missed....great to see that the board is still alive. JJ keep up the fight. if I can just to try & explain some of my absence, yes, my daughter is still undergoing treatment, yes, I was "inside" as I bought M's of shares from private placements..... towards the end I even offered my services to MP as an ND to serve on the company board...This offer was not taken up. M's of my shares, like 1000's of others where unfortunately locked away in the Hume farce, so I couldn't even off load for the 12 months leading up to the collapse. I feel completely let down by the BOD, as I was in constant contact with them and was unfortunately given the story that they wanted me to hear...... however I made my own judgement call, I invested my money & lost my money....I am comfortable with my decisions ....albeit a bad decision. I like "many others" have lost a small fortune with MTV......I wont lose my home or be penniless....and as I have realised there is more to life...than a few bob in the bank. I chose to not to contribute to the board as I felt that I had nothing further to contribute, I am still in touch with several posters who keep me informed. I still look in on the board from time to time, so best wishes to ALL ...even the ones that continue to stick the Knife In. Take care all. steve
