962.05k buy after the bell today as well.
Buy on weakness if you can. See 700k buy today. Good FT article today. I forgot washing machines.
As you are speaking in tongues I presume you must be. Why not just buy it and hold it? After all it's going to a licenced chip in EVERY electronic device you can think of including the fridge! Check out MD's vision of the future in past Annual Reports.
Good sentiment with this stock. Good news of the market and momentum. Any impression from technicians about the last three peaks on the 10 Sep. 1 Oct. 19 Oct and downs 2 Sep 4 Oct confirming an established support and resistance levels?

http://www.arm.com/news/26196.html 21 October 2009 ARM Delivers The Internet Everywhere With Most Power-Efficient and Cost-Effective Multicore Processor Processor reinforces clear leadership position in highest-volume and highest-value connected consumer, embedded and industrial applications CAMBRIDGE, UK – Oct. 21, 2009 – ARM [(LSE: ARM); (Nasdaq: ARMH)] today announces the launch of the ARM® Cortex™-A5 MPCore™ processor, the smallest, lowest power ARM multicore processor capable of delivering the Internet to the widest possible range of devices, from ultra low cost handsets, feature phones and smart mobile devices, to pervasive embedded, consumer and industrial devices. Available as an extremely area- and power-efficient uniprocessor or up to a 4x multicore processor, the Cortex-A5 processor unleashes the outstanding performance and power scalability required for the compelling usage scenarios demanded by each of these markets. This extraordinary combination of performance, functionality, and efficiency reinforces ARM’s clear leadership position in the highest-value and highest-volume application segments... I think the pull back will only be small in ARM, as it needs to test support of the new trading range; now the stock has Brocken out above the last three year trading range. If support holds we will see a quick move up within the new trading range IMHO I think now would be a good buying opportunity before the big move. DYOR MARKET REPORT: Imagination is running away in Britain's microchip industry By Simon Duke http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/article-1221554/MARKET-REPORT-Imagination-running-away-Britains-microchip-industry.html Last updated at 10:20 PM on 19th October 2009 In Britain's microchip industry the difference between the haves and the have nots has never been starker. Great rewards beckon for the likes of Imagination Technologies and ARM Holdings, hose designs are becoming indispensable to the new wave of mobile phones that double up as powerful pocket-sized computers...
Article in Money Mail today suggest these will go very well in the not too distant future so keep an out for them. Big volume today just over 7,400,000 and a live price of 161 Get on board
The share price finished the day above previous high, in the last couple of years, so I suppose ARM is technically a Break-Out Stock. IMHO DYOR
Hon Hai 'You can't make a low cost PC using INTEL or WINDOWS' , Linux is a free OS.. Could ARM rival INTEL in a few years?
ARM Linux OS = some functions as soon you switch on, or load Windows 7 for full functions: Laptop + Netbook in one. Dell in acquire mode too ...
Article in PC Pro points out how the cpu secondary balance of power is shifting towards ARM. Intel always the top dog by some distance and though threatened by AMD never near toppled, needs to look at ARM. ARMs different business model selling license rather than chips is working out, giving development flexibilty to hardware that Intel restricts. These coming weeks could be last chance to turn ARM into the a real winner investment. This share should soar and it is British, get some in!
Held this Zombie stock 4 years, but think tomorrows announcement from DELL is a game changer, filled my boots.
CAMBRIDGE, England & IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ARM (LSE:ARM - News) (Nasdaq:ARMH - News) and Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq:BRCM - News), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced that they have signed a major licensing agreement for the ARM® Cortex™ -A9 MPCore™ multicore processor. Broadcom intends to target the technology towards next-generation mobile, wireless and other consumer electronics applications.
Read today that ARM have joined the Linux foundation. Linux is the equivalent of Windows XP/Vista/7 but is free. So is ideal for the smartbooks. Also mainstream Windows doesn't work on Arm, so could be a match made in heaven for emerging markets & cheapskates like me (I'm typing this on a linux laptop lol!)
UPDATE 1-Hon Hai using ARM chips in low-cost PC projects ( Title says it all ) If China needs to use Arms chips ( design ) they must be doing well. I thought China had plenty of their own ( designers ) ! Can see Arm heading over £2.00 now.
ARM don't make chips, they design them and then licence others to make them. So they can therefore be made by anyone. This is a very strong proposition.

Good stuff
One of my nerdy obsessive interests is netbooks. A lot of the buzz in the netbook world is the rise of Arm processors - with a slew of low priced netbooks anticipated in Q4 this year (some early ones are already appearing - like the Always Innovating Touch Book) expected to shake up the market in the way that the Asus eee series did 2 years ago. Arm processors are dominant in mobile phones due to their low power usage (so long battery life). With increasing processor strength they can now handle mainstream internet browsing and multimedia - and at a lower cost and better performance (especially battery) than the intel atom range, the future is bright. That is why I have bought these shares.
Nokia's new internet tablet the N900 or something is to use the ARM Cortex-A8 processor. This is the sort of device I was getting at in previous post. However Nokia are also no getting into the netbook market and just released one with Intel Atom processor. Still makes it 1 all for now
ARM has the edge over intel in the low power chips. These are chips needed for the products coming out between note(net)books and phones. ARM is already major player in phone market. The trend for internet/mobile devices is ever smaller, though larger (capabilities at least) than phones. The chip that uses less power wins as the battery life is critical. Have read a couple of articles on this recently one in PC Pro, can't remember the other. Battle with Intel is looming, and ARM well placed. Not entirely sure battle with computer giants is always a good thing as they do seem to have a knack of getting their own way in the end, still we'll see.
These are heading for higher levels, not many with such a good record and ratings as ARM. As markets go, watch these take off and surpas all expectations. Wish I could buy more.
ARM spenty too much $$ ££ buying own shares at 1.40 plus rather than paying a GOOD dividend, I sold in January but now look at ARK, (Arc International) perhaps something there
