Zzzzzz
coming back in now
Pm, Banro got liquidity issue which is escalating their current crisis..security/funding issues could just be the excuse through which the biggest stakeholders maybe trying to takeover the asset.
Poorman- sounds like pure nonsense - this has been going on for years. The Directors are doing nicely. The people invested here are talking this up to create a buzz that they can sell into. However the story is now so stale they cannot do it anymore. Nothing but genuine good news is going to shift this and it is not even a good punt
Hey capn Chaos and calmness I agree, it doesn't look too good at the moment in the DRC especially when you read Banro's Corporate update.
Good Afternoon Vassilios, Following the grant of options over c12m shares to yourself and Anthony would you be able to share your rationale for setting the exercise price at 2.625p without any lock in period. Reply- As you may or may not be aware, Anthony and I are both no longer on the Board of Ortac and Anthony has actually left the company (as of the beginning of this month). I am not on the remuneration committee and I had no say on the issue of the share options either. All I can say is that there are some pretty ambitious internal targets set to trigger those share options, which in fairness one can say by default are a type of lock-up. Kind regards, Vassilios Carellas Clearly, they had no say in it..... I wonder what those ambitious targets are? Shall I ask?
Unless that 1p = 85k does it for them...In which case they've got their money in the bag...
I doubt they will be selling any shares any time soon, pointless going on about the exercise price
I am not concerned by the share options, it only means additional motivation to see this share takeoff. With every 1p move, Nick stand to gain 95k and Vas 85k, that's one heck of a powerful motivation to get the ball rolling here, and which they are doing. The operation is running much focused then earlier. The guys at Casa joining means things are only going to get better here.
One would hope they'd be at the front waving the Ortac flag!
Shouldn't that be directed at Ant n Vas?
Poorman, go through some of the listed mining companies from asx and tse who have projects in DRC. You will know by how much Ortac is undervalued. It takes effort and time to figure out when a company is undervalued.....
So Chaotic, do you think that's how Ant n Vas see this going with their wildly optimistic break even at 2.625 pence? Anyone would think they had the inside track eh.... Oh wait a minute, am I being a troll??
The next RNS will be a combined one. DRC, Slovakia, Eritrea and Mozambique. it will be a game changer. I was expecting this options last week as the new manager did not like the sp at this level. a serious move is expected. This only can be confirmed the more delayed is put into it to round it up
Extremely optimistic, but not impossible.More realistically I would guess if we have success it would be a lot less. But IMO anything below 3p will multibag. That is why I have been topping up,2.49p showing as a sell.
a blockbuster share. Accumulate it while you can....any dip is an invitation to load it. Just the DRC asset alone is worth more than £150m at its lowest valuation. (and close to one of the most monster assets that Randgold owns at Kibali) As a whole the fair valuation of the company should be upwards of £300m+. Ignore or laugh on this post at your own regret two years down the line.... DYOR Chaotic_Calmness
Obviously they have a good idea of where they want the share price to head and what they are going to do to achieve that (presumably by selling or JV-ing Sturec and their interest in Andiamo for a start?). Getting in cheap whilst they still can?! One can only hope they can get this dog to bark and bite!
Not great timing really,I think after the assay results would have been better.the sp drops 10% on that rns and then it will rise 10% on good results and people will be happy but we will only be back to where we were.
the right time to load themselves with cheap options. they know where the price is heading soon. ~ 200.000 each but soon it will be ~......... .... each. I wish I could have some options like theirs
Not a neat way around closed periods when they're about to drop killer news?
I did wonder if there were any rules about option exercise price setting, if so, I'm not aware of them. Trouble is, at that price it looks like an early / low get out price.
Agreed, p00rman, not a very taxing target to aim at and so soon after a huge dilution at mate's rates. Still I wouldn't be surprised if NVS one day turns out to be worth every penny of his cheap buy in when he brings home the bacon...
It would have been nice if the exercise price was more ambitious! I mean 2.625 pence, hardly a massive vote of confidence...
It's gonna be one hell of RNS, otherwise NVS will just look stupid getting all these goodies
pre rewarding themselves for what is about to happen ?
