one way to recover the losses in BMR is by buying more JLP shares while sp still not yet recover to the high of 7p previously
you can look at bmrwatch dot Shutterfly dot com
So what if anything can we do ?
He is posting on other shares I hold eg BEM and JLP. Maybe he uses his mobile phone to post. I haven't been able to get BMR chat on my mobile since we de-listed
For a laugh. go to BMR site, Investors, Corporate Governance. Appears the 3 Board members double check and audit everything they themselves do. Wouldn't want anything to go wrong.
I hope he will leave a note, though I expect like a number of regulars he is feeling a tad pi55ed off.
wassatt - indeed your test post was there. I appended a response to say it worked. I think it may have been deleted knowing it was working in order to concentrate on the point in hand. Only a guess though.
Just when I thought I had cracked it, my test post disappeared without trace
Back to the drawing board then
I'll try tomoz
it would be great to hear how Eric is doing, your thoughts would be appreciated matey? Shwmae
Just to make people aware - the BMRWatch site also mentions it - the site is a bit buggy and often when you are trying to respond or post on the discussion page it suddenly deletes what one has spent 10 minutes or so typing. The solution is to use some other word document/notepad or even on this page then copy text (and delete it from here if you want) and paste it to the discussion page.
Bit of a faff but more secure than here.
I can see your 'test' post.
If you click the blue post titles that will take you into the full chat. The top discussion on that page is where totals are being recorded.
I've managed to post "Test"
But still not sure if it's correct
Where to add holding ??
Ah ha, I've now entered into a discussion page, and I can see many partial posts, but how do you read the complete posts or indeed add one
I can't see any discussion tab
Yeah I clicked on that and it went to shutterfly asking me if I wanted to create a site
I am using my iPhone
On the BMRW home page you should have share sites in the header or banner at the top - and there is another tab bar with discussions - by the way are you IOS or android - IOS being the better
Oops......can't see
Yes mate I did all that, went through shutterfly etc then sent an email off once my Shutterfly registration had been completed. I then received an email from Laffer asking me to accept, which I did. That led me into the BMRW home page, but I can see anything in there re chat, share holding etc etc
Keep going folks we are now at 14,52%, if we can get to the 15% mark which should be sufficient for us call EGM ?
I think it is as soon as possible. They seemingly had a bit of a backlog. The admin work full time elsewhere of course so normal family life will get in the way. I did mine at the inception some years ago but you will need that all important Shutterfly account. I just created a new gmail address to ensure I got no spam. After all these years I still have no spam to that email address - probably only one of 2 that don't.
The instructions are on the Watch homepage come to think of it. It is a case of trust now. We have learned not to trust anyone at the company over past 10 years plus.
Whilst there are no guarantees of any positive action, I personally believe a joint action is better placed to recover something.
How long after you've reached the home page do the admin team allow you into the main system ?
Am i right in thinking that just 5% is required to call an egm?
The figure is due to be updated, but adding holdings submitted to day I calculate we are now over 49m or about 14.6%
Calculated the income to be derived from Star and Kabwe and is it sufficient to do anything with it?
Rofert - there you go again with your playground games making unfounded accusations. You are here to make trouble with your childlike comments.
There is literally nothing to see here so making fun of people who have lost many tens of thousands of pounds on this investment is just not funny.
I would respectfully ask you to desist.
