Agree TYB esp about the corruption and yes have noticed the price creeping up had to buy higher than I hoped thanks to waiting for a dip so bit of a sore point there.
Panman I think ac has more then delivered in the last 2 years unfortunately we had bad luck with the corruption still present in Africa. We should be fully compensated to the equivalent of producing oil in those countries for years which would send the price flying.
I also share your sentiment in regards to RBD, I didn’t know what all the fuss was about and did not want the gameplan altered with other plans. Personally glad that ac is going to be fully focused on delivering zenith with the huge Kazakhstan project with safe secure production in the USA whilst drawing as much money as possible out of the arbitration for us.
If you noticed the price in Norway is creeping up nearly every trading day for the past couple of days the sentiment is returning and if ac delivers his promises I can’t see why the company can’t be one of the biggest success of 2024.
Not exactly resounding imho.
Happy to admit that AC and ZEN don't have the greatest of cred amongst the smallcap oil sector we're still waiting for them to be recognized as a winner here but even with that over 20% wanted each of the RBD directors out.
Think RBD should take note as thats not exactly the most resounding victory ever.
That said glad AC isn't going to be distracted by running RBD too think he needs all his attention placed firmly on ZEN's upcoming deal to purchase their potential megafield in Kazakhstan.
Oh well that’s out the way now, back to Kazakhstan :)
Resounding vote against.
There was considerable cash at RBD, payment from Shell etc that could be used on other assets as well as that spent currently on ongoing sharebuy backs.
From the 13/12/23
6. The Board is concerned that there is a potential conflict of interest with respect to the proposed CEO, Andrea Cattaneo (who is the current CEO & President of Zenith Energy) and another Proposed Director, José Ramón López-Portillo Romano (the current Chairman of Zenith Energy). Zenith Energy is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and is a competitor of Reabold.
"The Board believes the motives of the Requisitioning Shareholders cannot be trusted and that the timing of the Requisition Letter is not coincidental; it is in fact opportunistic. The first requisition coincided with the first tranche payment due from Shell for the sale of Corallian. This second requisition coincides with the subsequent £5.2 million received from Shell on 5 December 2023 and £4.4 million expected in the coming months. The timing is such that the Proposed Directors would be in control of a well-funded company should the Resolutions be duly passed, and the Board strongly believes that the Requisitioning Shareholders and Proposed Directors are using this requisitioned general meeting as a way of attempting to take control of your Company, your cash and your assets.

AC and Jose voted not to be elected as directors. What was the plan a merger?
Kazakhstan increased its crude oil and gas condensate production by 7% in 2023 to 89.9 million metric tons (1.8 million barrels per day), slightly below a planned 90.5 million tons, Reuters calculations based on official data showed on Tuesday.
Kazakhstan not far off. I think when that comes with the arbitration money will be the mother of comebacks like Liverpool vs ac Milan champions league final.
'is this the comeback we have been waiting for?'
We are looking for something along the lines of the Jesus being resurrected!
Offering me 3.3p to buy if more buys come in this stock will move up very quickly
Tyb buys on zenith Norway the price 6.20% up...................is this the comeback we have been waiting for?................dyor

Thanks, need to do some research on RBD I guess, don’t know what west newton is but if it adds value to the market cap I’m all up for it. And if ac doesn’t get involved with RBD we still have more than enough on our plate with Kazakhstan.
Voting is now closed Florida, you can get that 50p out flick it in the air and do your party trick with it.
To be quite frank TYB we have to be very careful what we say in circumstances such as this. Discussions debating the potential outcome of a vote is sometimes a tricky business and can influence voting decisions either way. I would not like to get banned from LSE for prejudicing the outcome of a vote that determines the future of a company. Zengas ventured into that area but held back from releasing his true opinion. It's an interesting subject and I have much to say about it, but best to hold back at this time until the voting is over. suffice to say that it's not what happens when he becomes CEO of RBD, it's what happens after.
@tyb - West Newton!
Paul can you explain to me why RBD will make a difference to the zenith share price?
I’m hoping if successful RBD is absorbed into ZEN somehow which means WN has a main market listing.
I also hope ZEN look into UJO and some fruitful outcome is proposed there.
Florida I really don’t see how RBDs vote has any thing to do with zeniths future, particularly as they have nothing to do with the $150 million arbitration, USA or Kazakhstan deal. Yeh maybe some Italian synergy but other than that I don’t see much cross over or importance.
Wednesday is a crucial vote as to how we, and other potential investors view Zenith for the foreseeable future. All I can say is that Wednesdays vote, if successful, will be highly significant to both Zenith and Reabold.
Seems like the price is gradually creeping up matching our Norwegian cousins. Also seems we have new investors coming on board for the ride. Florida once the Kazakhstan deal is signed and sealed fully I expect 5p to be broken immediately, but let’s see. Either way we are well undervalue and it is very difficult to buy any stock at the moment.
BEP shown by broker must be from consolidation date .
One tranche size buy left which is 57% down when comparing money in and out over all trades .
Not allowed to buy with main broker but can place a sell order for holding ?
"Unfortunately this product is not available for trading. This could be due to regulatory reasons, your current trading settings or an internal decision."
Now 3p
Noticed I owned these after looking at RBD .
At a loss but not that much compared to others .
First buy 3/9/19 then 13 more deals , the last 29/12/20 a sell at 1p which is equivalent to 10p on chart.
This post on 25/9/23 explaining consolidation could not be replied to message page does not exists .
RIP Leslie.
