Well they might want to think twice before they do.
gl with this one lol
I suppose it depends how much he was offering to buy them back at - if it was a realistic offer then people may sell, however would imagine thats very unlikely!!
well he had borrowed £180,000 worth of shares here prior to suspension and he needs to buy those back which he will find it very difficult to do with it suspended - would imagine he's trawling around brokers trying to buy it back from whats on their books... good luck with that.
that people who have short positions open here are going to struggle to be able to buy them back from sticky holders... oh dear oh dear... Evil Knievil...180K spreadbet... ouch ouch ouch..
no idea.. not important really, I have faith that the company will work away privately to increase business, when they are ready to relist (or if they need funding), they will. Although the funding bit could easily be sorted privately with RT/Quob who have shown a strong interest - has RT got fca clearance yet?!? Be patient.
The reason why i invested here:: 1) RT bought up big stake 2) RT sold and bought back more than previous holding (as promised - he now holds 9.26 %) 2) DAN have made it very clear they will be turning the business around and return to profitability in near term 3) expansion in office space, new board members etc suggest DAN is very positive about their future. Fundamentally this is a good investment, dont let the issues with nomad, delisting get in the way. DAN will relist again if they want any sort of funding in the future. GL
of all these well wishers to post their kind thoughts and wishes here, true colours and all that eh? Quid pro quo? Good luck guys..
Stewart will be updating their website for investors with a Q&A section regarding the listing cancellation..
Apologies for the late entry on this but I've been away and just got back to see the news about AIM. I've not experienced this before so would be interested to hear what the various options are.
"it's not that complicated" Actually - it probably is which is why nobody really knows definatively exactly what the goings on are other than I suspect those who are inside and privy to such information, ie nobody on this BB! People can read the RNS to date and make their own minds up, theres been plenty of speculation in the public realm and enough information for people to make an informed decision - its a moot point at present anyway as its not something you can trade in and its unlikely that there will be any "new" information to discuss further on this board. Could be wrong though.
"He can get around that easily." hence some of the queries people have re RT.
if RT still had control over those shares, then that should be taken into account in the TR1. it's v. problematic in legal terms if someone claims they have sold when they still exercise effective control.
at least you have a sense of humour. you think that he has sold those shares in order to drop the price so that he can buy them back again? enough lunacy for one evening, g'night!
yes, it doesn't make much sense, does it his wheeler-dealer shenanigans with dan shares and imtk shares? who knows what RT is really up to. if you even shake hands with him, count your fingers after. one thing he does seem to have done with both is to book paper profits from both holdings into qpe accounts. which presumably may help him represent to others just what marvellous returns qpe makes.
if you are still talking about RT (quob) and IMTK shares, then all the information i have to go on is the RNS issued by the company about his holding, presumably linked to a TR! form he did. plus quob tweets, though frankly i would place much less trust in quob tweets. the company RNS re RT holding clearly says that he has sold down his stake.
good luck, !exactly. the TR1 form makes it clear that RT sold his IMTK shares. so either you think he has issued a false declaration about the sale, or else RT has got rid of them; now why would he do that if they were such a 'dead cert'? it's not a bad question, wondering why someone would buy shares off RT that RT clearly thinks aren't going to do well. now why would parties connected to RT want to help him out in that way? (what possible kind of incentive might they want?) one of the difficulties with RT, is there is so much smoke and mirrors, that it's very, very hard to work out what he is really doing.
you claimed that DAN no longer needed a placing because it had raised money off market. as evidence, you then cited an RNS from 17/11 which stated they had raised money through CLNs. -- but you either didn't notice, or choose not to notice, that the RNS of 17/11 also made it clear that they *still* needed a placing. it's not that complicated.
I'm not missing the point at all, it's simply down to the fact that certain people have a grudge against RT et al and aren't able to see the woods for the trees. Your loss.
It is said that delisting will save Daniel Stewart GBP 200k to 300k a year starting now, which will be added to the bottom line in profit, which would only seem to increase the rate of the company's growth and hence the likely speed at which its share price would increase. It also seems that for shares that have delisted from AIM recently, share prices have often increased significantly. For example, the price of GATE Ventures increased significantly after leaving AIM, even though that company is most likely a fraud. So delisting might not be that bad an option. After all, why would Rob Terry be so keen on delisting, unless he thought that it would help to increase the value of his investment and move the share price higher more quickly.
(wot, RT issue a misleading RNS? shurely not? lol.)
are you saying that you think his RNS was false? the RNS said that he sold.
? one could also question, if those shares are such a dead cert, why did RT get rid of them?
? but will they want to buy yours?
well, that's what he/qpe said. (of course, there are some would suggest that RT does not always tell the truth.) (? but how could one check the truth of what qpe says anyway?)
