The Western world’s biggest oil companies just generated more cash than at any time since the Great Recession, and investors are about to find out what they’ll do with it trib.al/szYGbnK
Last year half-yearly update was sent on 30th October so we might get an update within a week on many outstanding issues
A lot of traders probably are in at 0.5 & 0.67-0.70
I think that level has to overcome first before any meaningful price up
My view is that he needs to get his ops update out, give some forward guidance on production and some idea about his drill plans. After that he needs to confirm where he is up with Tunisia.
Likely he is waiting on confirmation of sales for Q3. Offtakers confirm what they have lifted and the price well in arrears. He might not yet know what his revenue and FCF were for Q3.
So what price has oil got to get too for the share price to go up?
WTI $84.29. Kerching!
I directly addressed your quote and your subsequent argument. You need to look up the meaning of a straw man argument.
I have no comment on the board. I certainly wouldn't make any predictions about what might or might not happen. I have seen loads of instances where changing the board/management would supposedly makes things better and they didn't. Usually they made them worse.
BODs change all the time. Better for change to be incremental and measured.

Nice report Billy Boy.
I think you forgot to copy and paste this. It might have escaped your mind.

No doubt more hot air and bluster, new acquisition, no doubt include the usual words "transformational" or "potential", blah blah blah followed by either a solicited or "unsolicited" bargain basement discounted placing for the next round of unsuspecting granny mugging.
#Yawn.
Nice example of a straw man argument Helpful.
Deflected my original point admirably.
So. The original point was that a new CEO would set the SP alight here. Imo.
Or do you not agree and think that something else is holding the SP back?
Another one who can't read, comprehend or reason.
I didn't say you were responsible for talking the share price. I said, "You couldn't be trying to talk the share price down or could you?": Just as you rightly pointed out. The two things are not linked. You trying to talk down is just that, a try.
Looks to me that you want the share price down, either because of simple malice towards ML and NTOG or because you think you can buy back in lower. The little old ego might take a knock if you sold out at x and the price ends up somewhere near 2x in the near future,
Keep your sweeties, I don't do them.
Put your big boy pants on when the Q3 update comes out, no weeping.
xx
"You couldn't be trying to talk the share price down or could you?"
Helpful. Put your big boy pants on, look at the SP and decide if little ol' me is responsible for what you see or if there are possibly other circumstances involved?
You will get a sweetie if you get it right or a slap on the back of the legs if you are a silly boy and get it wrong :)
Kisses -x-
Says the non-shareholder...
You couldn't be trying to talk the share price down or could you? Maybe you don't want to look like you made a mistake selling out at the wrong price?
Exactly.. I’ve been saying this for years
LOFGRAN is the problem !!! Over the past 12 years he has lost all credibility , his name is dog s..t in the oil industry , no one trusts him, no one believes a word he says, only green naive will work with him.
He has wrapped HIS company in to many controversial issues in his time, a lot of it unnecessarily, due to his lack of experience and leadership. Look at the mess he got everyone into with the EYGPT fiasco !! A prime example.
NOSTRA TERRA will continue to go NOWHERE for as long as MATT (bull****) LOFGRAN, remains CEO
Share price here would double overnight if a decent CEO was brought in.
All the reserves, lending facility, oil price, blah, blah, blah is doing three fifths of fcuk all for the share price here.
Punters have seen and heard it all before. Imo.
Share price?

Re post 1705hrs
"If it is not technical then no doubt you would have drawn out the same conclusions from the report. Which rather begs the question, what is your issue?"
My issue old chap is @ 0816hrs you posted "I will do a bit of a technical analysis for you when I get a moment!"
Guess what...... I did say i'm PMSL and I haven't even read it yet and I'm still laughing more now.
Your conculsion in simple terms was "could do better". You couldn't make it up. It was just a financial forecast with errors. Hence the market didn't go for it.
Heres something technical for you. What would be the out come on C1 if we increased the choke size on the well.
I do believe you agreed to the post back in December regarding Cyress deal and the reason behind it. Could be mistake as I don’t read you post.
However looking forward to next updates. I hope they are better than today’s efforts.
What a load of old 5h1t!
Did wonders for the sp I see.
As usual you make stuff up. How would Strand Energy fit in to your fantasy?
Why not wait for the Q3 update?
