How come there are no posts yet on Barrick Gold chat???
Same. Let me guess you are with degiro too?
has anyone of the RRS shareholders started trading their shares in Barrick, as i have had my shares swapped from GBP to CAD $ and now back to GBP?
Dividend will be paid on Jan 11 don’t panic
I have received no dividend.....Anyone else?
I cant see a fee charged. Regretting not selling now. They actually responded to my email though, and suggested it might appear in the coming days when rrs notify them, which seems odd. Hence i was asking others on here.
also i wasnt expecting to get abx shares listed on the lse in Can $, is that what anyone else got?
Fee not few. Sorry
Lucas, out of curiosity, did they charge you a few? I also use DeGiro and sold my RRS shares, as I have had a bad experience with them handling delistings. You having problems getting your RRs dividend probably shows that they are still not doing a great job.
My broker (degiro) has done the rrs abx conversion, but i have no dividend payable showing from the 28th dec , anyone else had an issue with this?
Thanks...
Thank you...Is this good or bad news for existing Randgold holders????
You should check with your broker I72 and make sure you have completed the form to include US shares in your account. This is a simple process and can be completed quickly online - do it tomorrow. Lucky you found them.
Halifax says my rrs shares will be replaced by barrick wthin 10 working days. Do not despair you will receive barrick in due course (6.128 barrick for each rrs share)
Barrick price can be found on yahoo finance, NYSE,USD, enter ticker GOLD in search box, but still comes headed rrs as this was rrs ticker that barrick wil be using
Hi, I have shares in Randgold which I forgot about. I have seen they have been bought out. Now my shares on my portfolio just show a 100% drop and seemingly no value... I am obviously very unknowledgable about shares. Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
When gold has risen historically, small gold shares have made the greatest profits.
Of course it would be unwise to put all your eggs in one basket and AIMs market is not as safe.
Patience is a virtue, should anybody venture. Hope everyone has a Prosperous New Year and do your own research.
TigerBy The Tail.
Hummingbird is hardly laughable, you have the right to get out of a share but others just do not share your opinion.
Hind site is a wonderful tool. When I bought into Randgold a few weeks ago at a SP 4669 I was the same person who bought Hummingbird.
I really would not worry about the tax - worry about buying the right share. Like Tiger I would not be buying Hummingbird and if you are used to the security of RRS then AIM may be a bit of a shock. If you are in doubt why not stick with RRS through the processs with Barrick pick up ‘GOLD’ shares in $ and see how it goes - you could do a lot worse.
FRES is primarily a silver miner but almost half of their revenue comes from gold. I feel they will be the one to benefit the most from RRS delisting and I'm positioned accordingly. It's the only LSE PM stock big enough to be able to absorb big cash inflows from institutional investors.
Egyptian gold miner Centamin (CEY) is dual-listed, so you don't pay stamp duty on it - even though it's a FTSE 250 stock. Also a very narrow spread.
The suggestion of deeply troubled AIM-listed Hummingbird here is frankly laughable.
Just gotta console yourself by saying you'll never buy at the bottom or sell at the top, as long as it's somewhere in between and it's profit, that's what its about. Looking at gold now though.........lol
Any Aim listed stock.
Hi all does any one know of a share were you do not pay the gov tax to day trade. Such a shame rrs sold out thanks in advance
When Randgold has left the FTSE, there is no big gold player. Hummingbird is up 8% today and may interest .
beatrootjuice lol, yup it did soar. I was looking at it today wanting to kick my own a*s. Kind of predictable with all the Brexit action that money will flow to RRS. I should've realised that and hold for another week or so. Anyways, it is what it is. Congrats on the profits.
USD GBP exchange rate and Barrick SP rising .
