Yep - I tell myself to be happy with any profit these days but got in many years ago with these so this is great news - plus the div too!
Anyway ... well done Pollack .... I'm slightly annoyed since I flipped a coin between here and Cenkos ... with the latter falling off a cliff and going for a merger .... but such is life.
Short now open wish me luck
Well yes .... bugger! I sold 210 from 180.
I must admit that caught me out - glad I decided to hold longer term. any other news or views out there?!
Results out today are awful but in contrast the co ceos say they are delivering shareholder value ?????
Every city paper should be reporting #NUMISFRAUD - They send out fraudulent memo's accusing accounting irregularities at THG why? Because they have an agenda, its calculated manipulation and they should be rigorously investigated. Shameful trying to destroy confidence in a growing British Company. NUMIS is a small 'investment' bank, you bet they all know each other and makes me wonder what they say behind closed doors let alone in client emails! Truly a disgusting set of events which shows the lack of transparency and trust within the firm. I would never trust anything they put out and would certainly never touch their stock.
Sold earlier in the week for a small profit, this line from the Edison report makes me think I've done the right thing.......
"the market seems to be factoring in a wide safety margin for a prospective normalisation of activity levels".
Will keep on the watchlist.
Yeah great results. SP rise into the close yesterday told us today would be good. There is one cautionary statement in the results that I have always thought......"Whilst our pipeline is becoming more diversified by sector as market confidence builds across a wider range of industries, execution of the IPO pipeline in particular will be dependent upon the current positive market environment persisting". Target for me was originally 440p area so will move my stop up given the chance.
Stunning half year - sp rise today nailed on imv.
will more of a move up be seen

What you have to ask is how much could NUM make in the COVID refinancing boom.? A lot of profit im assuming. Certainly did after the 2008 World trade down.
For now Im watching for an entry point.

When a company is buying back shares into Treasury, is this not a signal of confidence? It basically means the company think their shares are undervalued and so they purchase in order to sell at a later date... am I right in assuming this, or are there other reasons behind these transactions?
Look at all those A trades - so many, so small. Yet they have a negative effect on the share price. I have seen this countless times on holdings I have/have had. I have little if any idea of what they mean but must be computer generated. It nearly always drives the share price down. Doens't usually last long but is very frustrating at the time. Can't see any other reason for the share price retreat. Another of my holdings, GBG, has been hit in exactly the same way today, leading to a 5% fall there too. This may lead to a good buying opportunity in due course. Regards. CM
I have taken a small(ish) holding here today at a tad over 300p. Don't want to be too exposed. Spread is pretty tight which is good. Quiet board - usually a good sign - under the radar. This was brought to my attention by the Naked Trader who has a very good record. Regards CM
