thnkx for that mike, we still need I suppose confirmation of some sort. Yes we are working on a deal as stated before etc etc, I think that is all that is needed at this point a little truth. Why would PJ keep putting out bluff statements to the very very end is he ......................... lost his...................... I really I really hope not for all our sakes.
I spoke yesterday morning with John Botros on the telephone. Understandably he was wary of who I was and the conversation was guarded probably because he may be aware of the FCA complaints and he probably thought I was 'fishing'. I basically stated that the shareholders had no point of contact as of yet and how do we go on updates etc.Whilst there was nothing forthcoming in the conversation, don't blame him as he does not know me from Adam at least he is aware a contact point should be made and the shareholders feelings. Early days I think the Registrars may be a better route to take as Capita were present at the shareholder meeting last April and were there to oversee correct procedures/fair play etc.We have been told that they, the Registrar's, ( assuming it is still Capita dealing) are monitoring the situation/dealings of alleged new investors, auditors and nomads. They may well if approached demand for want of a better word a medium that shareholders can be contacted/receive updates. It has to be worth a try. Suggest several of us send e-mails to the registrar's stating this. If I hear anything I will post on here while it is still available.
has anybody made contact with them anybody related to MDC or in FACT to do with what PJ was telling everybody???????? I copy again the email our CHAIRMAN emaiedl to me personally and OTHER share holders. This is what he was putting out! So what else are we to believe as Investors!! There must be something in what he keeps saying!! as below. Has anybody made contact??? You'll see from the rns that we were unable to get an extension to our suspension from aim despite having a deal to go into MDC. This means that MDC is now an unlisted plc, however the deal is continuing and the new company will do a resubmission document and relist once the transaction has completed. The auditors are on board as are the new investors, I remain a shareholder but have replaced myself on the board with John Botros to close the new deal, he is able to focus much more time on it than me. Although frustrating, we are far from done and in fact we will be able to conclude things faster outside of aim. Kind regards, Phil Sent from my iPhone
I have no idea really, But curious why this thread is still here if we are not listed anywhere? Any thoughts
Downup, There is a mobile number next to John Botros at the bottom of the RNS. Dont know if it is his but its next to his name so will ring it tomorrow and see what transpires. I believe Registrar's also are Capita, will do some digging and see what they can/will tell. As you rightly say to know what is going on we have to set up some sort of dialogue / contact point, probably be e-mails once Botros's is known. If he is Company Secretary at TWL / Boxhill then that could pave the way for a contact point. Shouldn't have to go to these lengths I know but he probably hasn't read the MDC Boards, yet! ATB Mike
And what I was saying Joel was that it would have been better to go the complaint route after the new deal had been given a chance to happen, not while it was on the table!
I did not say you blamed share holders. What I said was that complaints to the FCA provide a perfect excuse for the directors to blame the shareholders. "Shareholder complaints to FCA scared off the new investors". As for northernlad he knows no more than the crap already in the public domain.
Hi mate, Actually agree with you that while a deal is on the table we should see what comes from it, if nothing then we can be where we are now but should at least give it a chance. On that note can you share anything with us, no matter how small, as am I right in thinking you have heard something / spoken to PJ. Just a hunch. ATB Mike
post rec
Despite you being over the moon at people losing money I have not blamed shareholders as you put it. As you are certainly not a shareholder you can't be blamed anyway. Obviously you do not like being reminded of your phrase of how funny it is to see shareholders lose money. Yes I will keep reminding everyone, been respectful to all despite getting drivel from you so my turn now. Clive everyone is aware of past history, I am aware of that. But that is what it is, history, we all invested knowing the history, that's a fact because at the time we all talked about new leadership, new product etc so the past can be left behind long enough for new deals etc. PJ stated new investors were on board as well as auditors & nomads and whilst that is all we have got at the moment a new deal is possible no matter how slim. Who are these new investors, these are the questions we should be asking imo. I suspect from Northernlad's change of heart he has possibly heard something we haven't. ATB
It all smells of the brown stuff imho! miker444 have to agree with jlf re history they must know it. good to know resubmission not a problem. All we need now is a co to resubmit!
Do you really think any interested party is not aware of MDC's history a la Purple Lounge etc? Do you really think any interested party is not aware of Botros's history? The FCA are the correct people to be writing to though you should not be surprised if the directors use your excuse and blame the shareholders for the ultimate demise of MDC.
Respect you unlike some others on here, but if I was a company looking to do a deal with MDC and got wind that complaints had gone in to CFA I would seriously consider whether to go ahead. It would certainly make me think twice so my concerns are not from a legitimate point of view but how it would look to a prospective new compant looking at a deal, that's human nature I think. Our efforts would be better served in contacting the Registrar's who are now holding court/monitoring situation with the shareholders in mind. Questions to them as Is there a deal on the table as stated, Are auditors on board as stated, are Nomads involved etc. I do know this much and that is any RNS that is released is regulated and vetted by Nomads and Lawyers before being released and if a deal is stated to be on the table it is just not allowed if it were not true at that release time. Re submission is not expensive and things can move a lot quicker when a company is outside of AIM/de-listed. I think we should give the Registrar's our worries, that's what they are there for.
why would a referral scupper a legitimate transaction? Not the way it works imho & if so why did aim deny an extension?
I am winding nobody up here. I have just returned from another ban for voicing my opinions on this company and its directors. I do not believe there is any deal on the table or being negotiated. That statement like all the others is just another ruse to deflect dissent. In all seriousness if the company stood or wanted any chance of re-listing would they place a director like John Botros and his checkered past in charge?
or have sent an e-mail to CFA you have probably just scuppered what small chance of a new deal there was. Unless you remove your request for them to look into it I suggest the damage is done. All those that do go ahead with it will have to face Lawyers etc to uphold your complaint. I am invested here so why could you just not wait until new deal either came into being or failed. I understand the anger but I think you have just shot yourselves in both feet. Finally Joel Le Force posted a couple of weeks ago "What are BB's for if its not to have a good laugh at when people are losing money". Now tell me if that is someone who is invested in MDC. Would you post that if you were invested and thought your money had gone. And yet here he is winding you all up again and you have fallen for it.
we need to conformation that a deal is going through as stated by PJ himself, if so all well and good but we must know 100% info for a change, other wise some serious questions need to be answered. But we do need to know as PJ has stated that there is a deal going through Auditors on board!! it is also true that Intabet was almost launched Boxnation and maybe others what the hell is or has been going on? goal millions??? We must know if this deal is for real according to PJ himself.
Why change in sentiment? Also the BB may be withdrawn now delisted?
Let's give the team time until the end of the year and see if they come up with the goods they now appear genuine and doing their best
Guys would it be possilble for one of you to maybe put a letter toether which we could all send into the FSA FCA, its not that i,m totally lazy i just cant seem to put things down on paper and i,m sure some of you would be really good at putting into an email our grevances Thankyou
Emails from PJ I now believe were a smokescreen, accordingly it seemed it was predecessors fault, but I think we now know different..........Hmmm
It is bizarre how we went from an accounting error to total meltdown in 6 months.Intabet suddenly worth nothing after almost being launched. PJ has kept in touch and I often wondered if this was just a smokescreen to keep us occupied until they did the dirty? Will e mail FCA as the more noise we make the more likely they will look into it.
How does the saying go:- "The only thing evil men need to triumph is for good men to do nothing" Fully agree with you regarding doing something about our predicament
Although many of you have written this off you should not just roll over. The very least you could do is email your grievance to the Financial Conduct Authority. Directors are facilitated in this type of conduct through their reliance on popular share blog websites like LSE to remove all negative criticism and the silencing of vocally aggrieved ordinary shareholders. How does the saying go:- "The only thing evil men need to triumph is for good men to do nothing" If we can't even voice and share our disgust at what has happened here then what is the point in being part of this share blog community?
Their history and now adding P J to this debacle, pretty much says it all
