RE: The Jonah
Today 13:43
Nelson - I think what really shook me was firstly, how slow my broker was at selling the shares. I had anticipated, having put the order in at 7.05 am that I might lose a bit and sell them for around 6-7p. 4.77p was much lower than I had anticipated from an 8.3 p price the evening before (set by some insider dealing. Still fuming about that btw) and secondly that the share was so fragile that one failure would almost halve the price of the sp.
I still have a bunch of shares but I have written them off in my mind. If they ascend to the heady heights that have been muted, so be it. If not then, then I'll take the loss. I assume the sp might be anything from 0p to 100p in the next few years.
In the meantime, I have consolidated my position with some solid blue chip companies that will pay a modest dividend forever (I believe) and topped up my pension accordingly. Result: less stress :)

They need to fund for the drill campaign plus warrants at 3p (64 million). Oversold yes but this is a temporary bounce.
Sub 4p before a move north .

s@p was back to normal today for trading
what I mean you can buy without a NT. LAST FEW DAYS you could not buy nowt while they were sending it lower only small tranches and offering higher for 200k. did dummy runs for days on end.
now we know why for the CEO.... but that does don't mean the dirty games are over might see more NT trades at much higher prices to send it back up.
they play dirty games sending it down, they play dirty games sending it up works both ways doesn't it?

I would like to think success in Bolivia from shell and Repsol will add value to echos prospect and farm outs in both Bolivia and Tapi Aike could generate significant value for echo. Echo still have a producing asset, still have multi Tcf exploration prospects already with compelling data, and none of the Tobifera was valued in the cpr anyway. Many invested in echo because of the diversified portfolio and potential remains for this to be turned around...

“sold half my shares in a panic at 4.77p” - First tip: don’t buy/sell shares in a panic.
Pretty much everyone here bought their shares between 12p and 15p - some have averaged down, but everyone is in the same boat when the SP is at 4pm - unless your circumstances need you to sell, IMO you’re better off holding tight. At least until the results of the seismic have been announced!

1st ECHO IS OVERSOLD DONT GO SELLING
bit of info to read
DAY1 1ST CANDLE stock must make a two month calendar low
DAY1 Range must be the largest of previous 9 days trading days.
For the short sale tomorrow ( today) only sell 10 cents ignore the cents that's how it is below low
Intitial Max risk ( stop loss) 1 point above day 1,s close
thereafter use a trailing stop
this might be some use to some people
