The last time that I was in Belfast in March, I got the impression that all was not well so far as the Union is concerned, their were mutterings about austerity and how that would affect their largely parasitic community. The feeling that the best has now passed so far as they are concerned - TM gets a landslide victory, their leverage (votes) would make not the slightest difference when the sheckles are being handed out or the formulation of policy. Strong links exist with Scotland and have been forged with the Republic over the last ten years which they very much want left alone. My guess is that they will be - but that Northern Ireland is going to be asked to shoulder more of its own burden which will actually benefit them over the long run. They are an ingenious and enterprising people who only lack encouragement to achieve an improvement in their situation. The North does however contain quite a number of "under achievers" who will still expect to be looked after as they always have been or they could become an even bigger problem. If closer ties are to be forged with the Republic this handicap will have to be borne in mind and policy developed to ween them off their dependancy. Who would you see over here as being supportive to their situation ?? and Unionist Party indeed... Good luck all.
50/50 in my opinion , i dont believe polls . Fingers crossed macron.
'twas a tongue in cheek comment... As you know their full name is 'The Conservative and Unionist Party' so I'm afraid that just about makes my stomach churn. Notwithstanding, now that T May is on her way to a landslide general election victory, anyone who does not conform to the WASP definition might as well pack their bags as it seems that racism in the UK has become mainstream and acceptable.
.. was bad news for boi stick when they bought into boi.. they have been shorting this stock from the moment they bought in.. like a pin ball machine .. they have tilted this stock without mercy..
.. question. who is buying the boi that blackrock is selling..? curiosity
That's what me mam would have said sober so good night punters
No need for congratulations, I didn't vote for them and never have - my father spent his life out of step and I see no reason to be any different. You must have gathered from my posts over the last four years at least, that I am no fan of mere politicians who simply serve their time in parliament and vote whichever way they are told. Then there are the others who make fortunes whilst appearing to do very little in return for large wads of wonga. I'm thinking of Boris and young George particularly who seem to be able to earn at least 600K a year in their spare time. Meanwhile Rome is burning. Now that other thing - you really must try the filter, because it makes nuisance postings disappear and seems also to delete all earlier postings from the same source. Certainly solves the problem of "Barmy from Ballydehob". Re-read my earlier post and must be developing a fat finger. Have a good weekend.
Congrads on a wonderful Tory victory. The future must be crystal clear...
Pressed the filter button - It doesn't use stop nuisance postings - it deletes them.
It's just gone from .23 a few days ago and now it's .259 and your talking about resistance
This SP really has major resistance at 26c.
you would think at yere age ye would realise if you pi55 into the wind ye get soaked
Pay no attention Radar - when he's harrowed what we have ploughed !!! Still very nice to see the lift - maybe the sentiment is moving our way, along with J P Morgan and others who I'm told are off to Frankfurt. Obviously they are making an each way bet... Good luck all - I'm painting my fence before viewing starts.
But they also drop its called gravity my friend
This actually goes up sometimes! Is that true ?
ohsee, blackrock are not investors they are shorters what our fkir needs is ii investors to Invest in this stock which will happen as soon as RS takes place the shorters are jumping ship from this stock & good riddance to them.
.. hard to find some recent news about BOI.. was hoping the past shareholder meeting would have something regarding the reverse stock split..?
.. is Black Rock. selling BOI to buy into AIB ?.. they have filed so many reports with the securities exchange the past year to show the excessive transactions past the 3% and below.. would be best if they got out of BOI completely..
What worries me the are also Lloyds
ranger4 - surely they're only doing what their investors expect, ie make money? Is there another way? I would like to see the BKIR emulate the Blackrock success!
Me too agree, blackrock selling up before split probably ,good ridance
I agree with your statement PGee blackrock noting more than stock scalpers and have made a fortune pumping and dumping our fkir.
In my opinion, I would think about €10Bn. or 30c per share and it would be that if it was allowed rise! Happy to see Blackrock reducing.
What shud be the market cap of BOI be? I'm hearing the bankers are having a hard time selling AIB's lofty valuation.
yes, goodbye given half the chance...
