886m Shares and after the big sell and Divi .. Left cashwise is £0.5m to close the business. Well under £0.0003 if even half of that cash is left ? A NO NO buy if ever there was one.. Best luck all..
Full marks and appreciation to the directors and dominant shareholders of AGP for their integrity and transparency, and the manner in which they have treated the minority shareholders throughout the restructuring process.
your £440.34 was instantly worth £49.20 plus your brokers fees you have lost it all .. what a plonker
There is no point buying today
I hope you guys get your money out ok. GL.
Delisting - 48p Dividend to UK Shareholders and ownership to be fully transferred to the majority Chinese Owners. I think its something like £1.80 in special Dividends and it was £0.4 before any had been given
Only looked at this because it's the biggest faller.
Good Bye Asian Growth - been Very Good to me
Aha, I have found my flaw, we are already in December. I had lost a month. Doh
You are already qualified for the dividend if bought 2 or 3 days before ex. div today, however, sellers may only worry that special div. in some cases required you to be on register 2 to 3 days after normal ex.div days. Therefore if you had 200000 shares you have £ 96720 dividend payment date and as AGP is delisting you might as well sell off the 200000 at 1p to get £2000 extra or nothing at delisting day.
Why would you sell for 1p now when you could get 48p in less than a month.? what am I missing. I can't see any obvious red flags but I also know that if something looks like it is too good to be true then it probably is.
Why are Buys going through at above 50p when the estimated mop up value is 48.36p per share and expected to be paid out this month?
Hi mann. The cheapest buy since notification has been @ 44p Most buys have been above this price..Those 50k sells may well have made a profit if they were bought at a lower price. Some do not want to risk tied up moneys with Dividends even if they are 99% guaranteed the chance of a hiccup is still there. Best luck dude..
0.4836 vs. 0.405 = 0.0786 x 100000 shares = 7860 profit
0.4836 vs. 40.5 = 0.0786 x 100000 shares = 7860 profit
AGP Asian Growth Properties AIM 41.5p HK$4.9584 116.85% 13-NovView Dividend Announcement 07-Dec 18-Dec 41.5 x 116.85% = 48.977 p per share. Which makes the two 100000 shares sold 8.30am at 40p silly.
It is delisting from AIM and winding up. The 48p is the worth of the company with a small amount left after for wind up 0.5M so it will not be a good idea to buy over 40p. Best luck.. No it will not touch 90p..
This will hit 90p with this giveaway. Look back at the charts and see what happened last time
48p give away, last time they did this it doubled in price
Well it was published on the 24th.. NAV at the end of June and I presume is current figurer 48.4p No interim dividend. 4 properties in China with one of those currently for sale. 157.6M Cash ( 30/6/17 ) http://www.asiangrowth.com/html/eng/pdf/report/17_interim/AGP_IR_2017_High-res.pdf http://www.asiangrowth.com/html/eng/report.html Best luck all..
The half year report if delivered at the same time as last year.. Might be very interesting and a pumper for the share maybe maybe Best luck all..
Looks like the Directors deals all clarified today has updated the situation AGP now left with mainland China properties and Cash - was never keen on the Chinese Properties as the Hong Kong were the prized assets but done well from this share
Right once all this has settled lets have a simple trading statement including assets, cash and understandable share information like current holdings with no myriad of mirror companies with holdings. I Will go with the stated 886,347,812 100.00% as being the shares in circulation. Not really a wonder there has been not to much liquidity or interest since the re organisation at least some made good with the big dividends over the last year or so. Best luck all.. Cmon Mr Lu
Hi JMHS.. All assets here are now in Mainland China after the recent re organise. Worth holding on though as when the revised financials are published it will be NAV a lot higher than the current price the cash pile may even ? cover the current M/C. All in IMHO.. Best Luck comrade..
From a business report about the Hong Kong real estate market, it is due to be corrected. Share prices fell but only a small percentage. As real estate in Hong Kong counts as one of the most expensive in the world as Hong Kong is so small, I believe that share prices are indeed going up at some point.
