PICTON PROPERTY INCOME LIMITED (LSE: PCTN)
("Picton "or the "Company")
Update of Investment Restrictions
As set out in the prospectus published by Picton Property Income Limited on 13 September 2012 the Company's investment restrictions therein include the following restriction with regard to the requirements of the UK Listing Authority and investments in other listed closed-ended investment companies.
"Picton will not invest more than 10 per cent. in aggregate of the value of Gross Assets (calculated at the time of the relevant investment) in other investment companies or investment trusts which are listed on the Official List (except to the extent that those investment companies or investment trusts have published investment policies to invest no more than 15 per cent. of their total assets in other investment companies or investment trusts which are listed on the Official List)"
Further to shareholder feedback the Board wishes to clarify that in addition to the above restriction, the Company will not invest more than 15 per cent. in aggregate of the Company's Gross Assets in other investment funds, notwithstanding whether or not such funds have stated policies to invest no more than 15 per cent. of their gross assets in other listed closed-ended investment funds.
