HALMA p.l.c.TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES

Halma p.l.c. announces that on 4 November 2010 it transferred 6,342 ordinary shares, held by the Company in Treasury, to the Halma p.l.c. Employee Benefit Trust in satisfaction of awards which vested in accordance with the Rules of the Company's Performance Share Plan.

Following the above transfer, the Company holds 1,305,666 ordinary shares in Treasury. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 376,728,968.
