Persimmon Plc ("the Company" )- Transfer of Shares held in Treasury
Persimmon Plc announces that on 19 May 2008 it transferred 569 Ordinary Shares held in Treasury to a participant in the Persimmon Plc Long Term Incentive Plan to satisfy the exercise of an option at a price of £7.465.
Following these transfers the Company holds 2,537,494 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Treasury and the Company's issued share capital is 300,053,937 Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
