Impax Asset Management Group plc (the "Company") announces that Sanne Trust Company Limited, as trustees of the Impax Asset Management Group plc Employee Benefit Trust 2012 (the "EBT"), purchased 150,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at a price of 36 pence per Share on 5 June 2013 and 100,000 Shares at a price of 36 pence per share on 7 June 2013.

Following these purchases, the EBT holds 15,834,143 Shares, representing 12.39% of the Company's current voting rights.
