The Company announces that on 24 July 2018 it purchased 137,518 of its ordinary shares of 5p each ("Shares") through UBS, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2017.

Volume weighted average price paid per Share: 3702.5008p

The Company intends to hold the purchased Shares in Treasury.

Following the purchase of these Shares, the Company holds 6,729,514 of its Shares in Treasury and has 133,427,669 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares). This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of LR 12.4.6.

In accordance with DTR 5.5.1, the 6,729,514 Shares held in Treasury as a percentage of the total voting rights in the Company is 5.04%. Shares held in Treasury are excluded from the total voting rights figure.
