Transaction in Own Shares

MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC ("the Company")

PURCHASE OF OWN ORDINARY SHARES

On 30 June 2016, the Company purchased in the market 50,000 Ordinary shares at 980.0631 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital comprises:

126,985,789 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

938,892 Issued B Ordinary shares

127,924,681 Issued Ordinary and B Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

616,163 Ordinary shares held in treasury

The total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 127,924,681 (Ordinary Shares and B Ordinary Shares) and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
