HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 25 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 150,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 268.7p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 23,145,510 shares for cancellation, since the 8th June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
