HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 24 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 75,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 263.1812p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 22,995,510 shares for cancellation, since the 8th June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
