Transaction in Own Shares

 

Hunting PLC (the "Company"), the international energy services group, today announces that it has purchased, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Company, the following number of its ordinary shares of £0.25 each ("Shares") on Exchange (as defined in the Rules of the London Stock Exchange) as part of the buyback programme announced on 27 February 2020: (the "Programme"):

The Company intends to cancel these Shares.

 

At 27 February 2020, the Company had 166,940,082 Shares in issue.

 

Since the 27 February 2020, when the Programme commenced, 1,236,084 shares have been purchased, which have been or will be cancelled, and includes shares that have not settled yet, giving a current issued share capital of 165,703,998. This number represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
