9. Chain of controlled undertakings through which the voting rights and/or the financial instruments are effectively held, if applicable: 

6,952,524 of these shares are for unit trusts operated by Marlborough Fund Managers Ltd for who Hargreave Hale Ltd manages the portfolio of investments on a discretionary basis. The remaining balance is held on behalf of other discretionary clients.

The increase in shareholding is as a result of a purchase of 11,295,045 placing shares and the take up of 27,736 open offer shares from the 142,500,000 placing/open offer shares which were admitted to the market on the 10th December 2009. Therefore, the resulting holdings percentage is based on the new TVR of 219,564,703.
