Northern Venture Trust PLC01 June 2007 NORTHERN VENTURE TRUST PLC TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6,Northern Venture Trust PLC (the "Company") would like to notify the market thatthe capital of the Company as at 31 May 2007 consists of 38,402,882 ordinaryshares with a nominal value of 25p each and 20,666,773 C shares with a nominalvalue of 75p each. All the shares have voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares or C shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 59,069,655 (the"Figure").
